I think Tocchet went too far in keeping him off the PP. Suter looked completely out of place. Missed a couple opportunities for one timers. Better to put Kuzzy in.

Coilers are cruising right now. Too bad the Canucks only have one more game vs them. They need to be put in their place... smacked down.

Usually the first place overall team gets a break with the officiating... But for whatever reason, the Canucks now have the Refs scrutinizing every move they make... and ignoring other teams. But a near breakaway/trip can't be ignored.

Only negative is that being at the Allstar game can be a distraction from team focus and players often lose sleep because they have to attend multiple events. And rest of the team is sitting at home. But maybe because this is essentially the 5 man unit which is the starting lineup for the team, this doesn't apply.

Despite their poor position, Buffalo is a good team, coming off a 4 game win streak. They have a elite players in Thompson and Dahlin, and lots of strong supporting players. This was a good win.

ok, not much of a break till CBJ.... but would be great to leave Columbus with another road win. Chances of missing the playoffs are now getting to be marginal.

I bet Tocchet is happy with this game. Typical grinder low scoring defensively responsible game with push back when the Sabres got chippy.

4th line building character and getting in sync... potentially emulating third line with Hoglander as the Sparkplug instead of Garland, Lafferty as the hitter in place of Joshua and Suter as the defensive center in place of Blueger.

That is exactly the kind of demonstration which tells you why we should keep Kuzzy. Very few can turn a no chance position into a good chance.

Not as an offensive player... he is a supporting player. He is more of a two way player... 200 ft. And not a center.

Tuck would be a player that I would take in exchange for Kuzzy. Big, fast and a decent scorer. Be a perfect addition to Miller/Boeser.
