  1. In the playoffs, because what we are seeing in this game is what we'll see there, they may need to put Hughes and Hronek with Myers or Zadorov to make sure they have protection close at hand. In those types of games, you need someone on the ice when the chickensh*t behaviour starts to happen, so an immediate beat down can be administered.
  2. No... Kuznetsov is too old for this team. Next year he will one year older and slower... year after he will be garbage. Kuzmenko is young enough he can learn how to play. And he's got minimum 5 more good years.
  3. This Buffalo team is young and stupid... and would normally be nowhere in this game, but the Refs are indulging them with free PP's for non-penalties.
  4. Just need to close this one down and avoid taking any injuries from cheapshots. Best to play the counterattack... wait for them to over-commit, then punish them.
  5. Middlestadt's brain can't understand what just happened... "WTF... Did he actually make an impossible save on what should have been an easy goal by me?"
  6. A$$holes jumping all over Hughes. This is what will happen in the playoffs... this is where we need to have guys like Myers and Big Z start to administer some beatings.
  7. Maybe JT should have declined, but it puts the Sabres short on D, so even though his loss for 5 minutes is a big one, probably evens out.
  8. I really hope the 'Trade Pettersson, he falls down' trolls will stand up and acknowledge their errors.
  9. Canucks management should talk to the league about the 'Homer' Reffing... that was complete garbage. There was no penalty on Crosby... and then there were multiple penalties committed by Penguins not called.
  10. Crosby a tough guy to play against... he has seen it all, done it all. Flukey goal though. Still betting on the Canucks to close this out.
  11. Pittsburg is a good team, (better than their place in the standings) and they are giving the Canucks a run for their money. If Karlsson gets going, they could actually make another Cup run... assuming Jarry continues to play well. But the Canucks are out chancing them as the period comes to a close... I think we will take this one.
  12. Crosby is a Veteran at getting under opposing player's skins... without getting in the Ref's bad books.
  13. Everybody knows Crosby will go into the Hall of Fame on his first ballot... in fact, the NHL will waive the waiting period, and he'll be in immediately. Such a complete player. However, he's not quite what he used to be and doesn't have the team either... And the Canucks are going for #4 in the trip.
  14. Jeff Carter is a potential hall of famer... Multiple Cups, on the roster for the Olympics and Canadian International teams. Great player.
  15. Right now the Lotto Line has the winning number everytime. I am not a fan of loading up the top line, but it is definitely working at this point.
  16. The Pens are a good team, even though their record isn't the best. Can't count a team with Sid as Captain out anytime. Canucks will need to play responsibly defensively and not let the offensive stars of the Pens put up points. Crosby still can set them up and he has plenty of shooters to go to.
  17. Miata's are bulletproof... very reliable if you keep up the basic maintenance. Not much power, but tons of fun to drive on twisty backroads. Used Porsches are expensive... costly to maintain. I know cause I have a 1985 Porsche 928S 5 Speed... which I have updated to add another 100 hp. Getting work done correctly is always an issue... the places you can trust charge an arm and a leg. Unless you are excellent mechanic and have your own large garage space, plan on spending, spending, spending. Goes for the Boxter's, 911's too. Probably the best used sports car to buy now is a low mileage Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86. Also very reliable, handles extremely well, more room inside than Miata, (four seats) also not much power. Don't like BMW's... their quality level started to slip around 2005... and when they start to go, costs are huge.
