Big Z is really focused on being a clean player....this was his first suspension. Awesome, no need for him to be dirty. Just lay out good solid hits and answer the bell when needed.

He wasn't great at the morning skate apparently. So something nagging, not anything too dramatic by the sound of it. Better to be safe and rest/heal up for playoffs. Rather than risk doing further damage. My guess is groin.

Yep......the reason they didn't play well was because the Canucks knocked them off their game early. Completely. And they had zero response.

You know, this management and coaching staff have given this team the nod and that's huge. They've gone through the trade deadline without any sign of desperation or weakness. They played their cards from a position of strength. I'm sure the team feels that. The confidence and chemistry is really growing and you don't tamper with that. The other teams too...they're likely taking notice at this point. "A team like that" I'm so glad that the moves that were made earlier have given us enough of a boost to NOT have to do something stupid at the deadline. We were ahead of the curve. The core has weathered storms and gone through some stuff together and now has a great supporting cast in place. I'm really impressed with every aspect of what I'm seeing.
