  1. I did awhile ago....it was accidental but it stuck.
  2. And the kicker? He didn't even follow the rules in his own game.
  3. Yes, that's when amnesia kicks in. or alcohol
  4. Oh f, hand me some morphine. Ron McLean AND Gary Bettman. That's like having the measles and pneumonia at the same time.
  5. Sure did (posted it here somewhere). I love it. Everyone's all like peace, love and bro party but Demko's got his game face on and ain't having any of it. This team's got swagger of IDGAF proportions. These are guys they want to tear apart....although the weekend's for fun, I love the focus Demko's showing. I'm not your buddy guy.
  6. My mom, dad and I used to listen to games in the kitchen while making dinner...it was so funny. At times, we'd be huddled around the radio like we were "watching" the game. Lions too.
  7. So maybe just Google to find out more before you jump in with your thoughts on something you've admittedly never heard of? Or stay out of a thread that doesn't interest you because it's not like you've been forced in here? There are plenty of threads that deal with the hockey end of things so it seems maybe you're wasting time in here? What you're interested in is fine, but others are interested in this. And maybe you're only about the hockey but kids are also part of the team following and they love the "team pets" stuff. So it's not just about adults and hockey...it's a family affair. The Canucks partnered with BC Guide Dogs in a very worthwhile sponsorship involving a litter of puppies. Ryp being one of them (and a great ambassador for both the team and Guide Dogs). We need more light shed on organizations that help others and I, for one, am proud my team is involved in acts of this nature. They're not JUST a hockey team, they have a platform that also is used for many great things (including Canucks for Kids). The comment about kids passing away is kind of unnecessary too. I just don't like the disregard for a dog...a living creature...who brought joy to others in his short time here and raised some awareness (and possibly some donation). Maybe show a little respect for those who do care even if you don't.
  8. Not assuming, those are his words and they told me what I needed to know. He hasn't decided yet. For me, should be a no brainer. And aren't you assuming something (maybe he wants to...) and not holding it against him prematurely?
  9. I didn't see this thread, sorry. I'm just gutted over this. I got to meet Ryp a few times and he was a beautiful dog....got my face covered with kisses. He was just a young guy, so sad that he's gone.
  10. It's ok. He mooned them as they left the building. Much more personal.
  11. Say it isn't so??!! I've "met" this beautiful boy a few times and had a big, swiping face lick. It's so sad, he's too young to be gone. The rainbow bridge just got a beauty of a friend up there....may he RIP. I'm devastated over this news. https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canucks-team-dog-ryp-passed-away
