  1. Quinn, please don't talk to Matthews. Thanks, From those who care.
  2. JT's such a badass. Come on now, there's no one cooler. Miller for the hardest shot, book it. Have you heard him blast one that misses the net?
  3. I didn't see it so can't confirm. I hear that for the last pick Jack had eyed up someone else and Petey overruled and said they were picking Miller. Love it. Despite this being a meaningless deal, I want the brotherhood on the bench to remain strong. And also Quinn apologized to Miller for picking him last. AND SO YOU SHOULD, QUINN. Kucherov? No.
  4. And their high af new bff, Michael Mushroom.
  5. I felt last year in Vegas was worse. For some reason, I'm loving this year (obviously a lot to do with having so many players involved). When the deal was here I was also really into it. They could do a lot better for sure...but I love that Buble's our guy and I'm looking forward to the Skills and the game. (Get to wfh this afternoon so that lined up nicely).
  6. Add one more Canuck to the All Star roster.
  7. Yes, must've been tough back then when there were 6 teams in the NHL. Leafs still hanging on to that stuff like it's relevant in the here in now is quite laughable to me.
  8. @brilac It's Monday, yea!

Yeah, that was ridiculous. You need points, you try the fg.

Well yes, it started there for me (Mahomes). But the entire saga playing out with the love affair...it's cute and all. But enough already.
  12. LOL Yes, because some here can predict the future yet, for whatever reason, have never won the lottery. You can look at a big picture but you can't foretell the outcome of unplayed games. Also......small picture = looking at the Oilers from December 21 onward and ignoring where they were before that. Big picture factors in the entire season/performance. Same applies to looking ONLY forward with the Canucks and ignoring what they've done to date. Small picture stuff. Big picture includes all of it. It's fine to be high on the Oilers....but they're just as likely to falter as this team is.

Love it! Chippy stuff before kickoff. Take down these damn Swifties. Can't stand the Chiefs.
  14. Even though some of our fans are skeptics....I'm glad the team and coach believe in what they can do. That matters most.
  15. We play nearly the entire month of March at home (9 game home stand). March 8-31....every game is at home. Matters.
  16. Also, the statement "they're not likely to lose". Like they did out of the gates when they fell on their faces? Why not? Not so sure we should just ignore/forget that part and pretend it isn't relevant. It's possible they stumble again based on their earlier record. People high on the Oilers need to remember that, just like this/any team, they're subject to lose at times. And they're not there yet so yes, their win streak is impressive but it simply offsets their HORRIBLE start. They were desperate and have gone on an amazing roll...like our team did last year. Nothing to lose stuff. Home ice matters but...this team did very well on the road. People who pencil it all in have been wrong before. Not sure they have it all figured out in advance based on paper and schedules. Some people will never really buy in I guess. Always setting us up to fail.
