They just might....as much as I know we're due for a loss, I can't bring myself to predict one. Just keep this thing rolling. But the Sabres have won a few recently and it won't be easy. Full 60 minute deal. And, in the event they do drop a game....well, that's kind of normal/ok. Won't signify anything except you can't win 'em all. -

That's awful! How do you keep the pipes from freezing with no heat? I'd be freaked out...I was worried about my Dad the past couple of nights...if his power goes, he's got nothing - no phone, heat, lights, etc.

Love this, thanks for sharing. Hard to go wrong with those two....had the great pleasure of meeting them both a couple of times. Super cordial and back then my son was young and it was a big thrill for him. Got his picture taken with Bure...was a big moment and he was completely star struck. That would be a good match up...Winnipeg has scared me as a big, tough team. But I think this team has learned to play a game that has them compete with anyone. Adding Soucy, Zadorov, Cole, Lafferty etc. makes us a little bit bigger and not as easy to play against. Miller, Joshua and Myers round it out nicely. -
Must be super scary! LOL I had to drive a coworker home on Thursday as the crazy snow/weather hit here....white knuckled all the way. We have terrible drivers here and the fact that two lane streets had no line markers as they were covered in snow was an absolute free for all. We're lightweights...my cousin in Saskatoon reminds me all the time.

Indoor rink vs outdoor stadium...can't have people sitting outside in a blizzard. Although, for a game, I would.

Yep, noted. (Had them set to ignore so would have missed this) Not really hard to tell when trolls strike. They're not quite as clever as they think they are. Re the game being cancelled....Bills game is outdoors, right? I imagine that comes into play. I think (HOPE) we'll be ok for the game today!!!

When you use words like "reality" "I know what they need" (like you do and we don't?). I think I've been quite right about this team. Besides, I'm not sure you DO know....because a month ago you were wrong. And now you're, once again, trying to predict stuff. But you lost credibility in December. If you can go back to '94, why can't I go back to December? Seems fair. Ignore list is growing...we're not here to hear how much more you know than the rest of us...we're here to cheer on our team. Not just predict failures.

The ads help pay for the site, not us...admin/mods are volunteers. As a matter of fact, I believe one admin who shall not be named contributes out of pocket so you couldn't be more wrong. You can always contribute by donation if you'd like. This was an alternative that we thought we'd try to see if it could sustain the site without reaching out to members for help. Ribs has worked hard to come up with this site despite the rug being pulled on the other one. Cheers.

That's it, it really won't prove anything. They WILL lose some upcoming games but it's what they've done to put themselves in a position to be able to that counts. But let's not deprive those few of their "AHA TOLD YOU SO" moment. And, ftr, this is not me being cocky. I take NONE of this for granted and that's sort of my point. They won't kill it all year...but it's ok. They've shown that they can compete with the best of them and even when they lose, it doesn't undo that fact. They've earned where they are.

Just waitin' are you? Spoken as a certainty. Come on now, they WILL lose games but let's not let that overshadow the ones they're winning. As some here tend to do. Rocket Science: they won't win every game. But they're damn good and winning most of them. The rest is just noise. Let's go Canucks, give it your best and see what happens.
