That game was SO fun. Start to finish, an electric atmosphere. Clocked myself in the face with my cowbell...only a little blood. Was lucky I didn't knock a tooth out. I took one for my team (was trying to high five my friend beside me and I had the cowbell lanyard wrapped around my wrist....shot it back at me like a slingshot). They looked great. Super happy they got the shut out for Demko. Floriduh? Not so much....they were quite awful. Oh Bob, thanks for the goal! Oh also...that call on Miller was horsepoop....if anything, they both should have gone.

Oh damn, that's brutal! Good idea to call in sick...sometimes you just have to give in to it and take time to do what you need to do. Hope you heal up. I'm constantly bashing and banging myself around. People at work used to say they were going to bubble wrap me. I have a badly bruised finger right now...smashed it a couple of weeks ago then again on the car door as I put dad's wheelchair in the back. A few choice words were mumbled!

It's not. And I've done it every day for about the past 2 months. Last year too. I honestly don't mind....it's the part I love about the job. Kids are awesome.

I'm exhausted tonight....mostly watching the game in a horizontal position. I'm the Head of School's assistant and he was busy (again) today so I had the 3 kids sent to his office for the day in my care. They were wound up (sugarfied from class parties) and just wild. It's hard work this adulting stuff. I need a Red Bull.
