    But the Oilers sat back and almost blew a 3 goal lead. I love that the team didn't roll over and just die. Had they come out with that confidence/intensity sooner, this might've ended differently. They're not quite the powerhouse everyone makes them out to be. Just about blew it.

    It's why he signed here long term...he saw something in these guys. He loves it here. Some people were SO convinced that he was outta here...and they still try to cut him down at every opportunity to prove a point that's been long put to bed.

    Exactly! Before he'd slide on the ice on his belly and put himself out of the play if it didn't work. Even how he looked..he up'd the intensity a whole lot.

    He's the spark. In games where Petey's not contributing on the scoresheet, Garly can be counted on. Super awesome having him on the team. He just never quits...his energy level is amazing.

    I really think he did a great job in the playoffs overall. He was more focused from what I saw...more engaged.

    Played over 27 minutes, was 70% in the dot (huge), had 3 hits and was a +1. Annnd almost scored the tying goal again. Some people don't watch hockey, they watch for goals.

    It was a good year overall. The team will learn from this experience. Oilers are turds, all of them. Not one that I have respect for. RNH is probably the closest. Hope they crash and burn. Again.
