I'm going to get another Miller (skate). This one's autographed and it's too special to me....always scared it'll get wrecked. Also...just went and got "supplies" for the game. Never tried this beer before but....it called out to me.

I'm a wreck, I get it. I've decorated my place in Canucks swag...inside/outside. Car. Wearing my Canucks slippers, undies, jersey, hat, bracelet, earrings. Drinking out of my Canucks coffee mug, soon to switch to beer glass (going to buy some Miller beer right now). HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET THROUGH THE NEXT 3 HOURS??!!

If you get in early/when the doors open, go down to ice level and watch the warm up down there. It's awesome. I usually hit up the Zamboni area.

The atmosphere outside the rink (on the plaza) is great. You have all kinds of stuff happening out there and it's a great opportunity to start feeling the excitement before you go inside. I usually get there about 30 minutes before doors open. Just so I can sit out there and soak it all in. Have a great time!!! Be loud and proud, we need you!!

How is that "acting all high and mighty"? Telling people at the game to stfu might be though. In game 5 we had a blast...chanting our hearts out. PICCKKKK.....ARRRRRD. Like you, I go to many games and some fans just do it differently than you. The more the merrier. And people pay good money for the chance to...do whatever tf they want at games (within the rules of course). Even if some don't think it's a good idea.

I don't agree. You set the tone...you chant loud and you chant throughout. Make it known....THIS IS OUR BARN. It isn't embarrassing, it's awesome. Come join the party some time, you'll see. We don't need hockey smarts as fans, that's for the guys on the ice. We need to bring energy and fill that arena with support. Oilers fans also were very tentative (for a reason). We don't have to follow their lead...we can be leaders. I'm proud our arena is shaking during these games.

OK UPDATE: The new neighbours are NOT Oiler fans, they're Canuck fans. All except the one wayward child who was dropped on his head switched at birth. His sister is out there in her Canuck jersey and told me her brother's "stupid". They also now have a Canuck flag on their car. Joining the party. I love the new neighbours.

I am back on the Myer's bandwagon. He's quietly been a beast out there and his playoff intensity is appreciated.

It's weird, I was on the edge and full of anxiety in anticipation of this game and now I just feel kind of numb. I know they say "not life threatening" but damn. Brock's been through enough and was really a shining star on our team. This blow really stings and I just feel terrible for him. What a miserable set back...can hardly wait for him to get well and pick up where he left off. Do it for Brock.
