In 2-3 years, when Willander might be able to play top pairing or at least top 4 pairing, we will be set on the RHD for years. Very satisfied. close to $7M was my hope and wish. Basically saying I don't know... He may have heard from either side, what status quo is, but the book isn't necessarily closed on this one yet.

I don't see EF saying yes or no... At the monent it looks like he it taking status quo, and saying they haven't come to an agreement yet, so it could go both ways. Zadorov won't sign for what has been offered... otherwise he would have signed by now. That much we all know... But since Canucks sacked the blabber mouth, they've run a tight ship, and nobody outside the inner circle knows, what their next moves is, until its made. They may have said to big Z, this is the top line we can go to, and Z or Canucks may have leaked it to Friedman, but what he is stating is basically, "I don't think, they can do it, but I don't know"... If he knew, he would have to leave the door open... And for the record I don't have anything against EF... he does, what he is paid to do. PS. You need a really good goal tender to win a cup... its that simple... I think Silovs did really well, but I still think Demmer looks better... saving $2M on the most important player is not the right place to start. If the team doesn't think Demko can stay healthy, they may have a case for trading him, but they don't have to yet... Split next season between the two and them make a decision... He will still be hot commodity next season. I still think we may have taken Oilers out, had we had Demko in net, but its anybody's guess...

Not really... we all know how important the D is....

It has nothing to do with playing against your best friends, and hatred during those games... I have no problems being up against any team, and win or lose we move on... What I would never do was to join forces and cheer for another team, I don't support... I don't give a toss about Panthers or Oilers or anyone else than Canucks, and I could care less if they play in the US or Canada or the South Pole... But frankly the way Canucks again was being portrayed in the press, by pundits, and by players was shameful, and I'll be damned, if I ever should be joyous for that bunch of respect less, diving @$£%... I don't recall many plaudits towards Canucks from anywhere, when they went up 3-2, in that series... I don't remember many speaking about the Canucks being hampered by having to play a 3rd string goalie, and how close they were to knock out the Oilers... and I don't give a toss about that, but I won't be supporting any one else but the Canucks... Its the Canucks or nobody... PS. as for shitting on their team, maybe if they stayed on their feet it would help, and talking smack about their fans... I don't really get into that, but its called fan banter...

For somebody being a Canucks fan for as long as you say, you've been, you haven't half changed your colours in a hurry? I don't get it... Canucks got done by Oilers, the team got slagged off by some ex pro pundits, and the Oilers players were less than polite towards the Canucks team in victory... So why the fuck would be so in awe of this hillbilly team? I just don't get it... There is zero chance people would change their colours and start to support a team, who just beat them and belittled them, where I come from.... You're either a fan, or you're not... Am I missing something here?
