I don't feel so bad about Shorty.... I think, its good, that the colour commentators are open and gives an objective view on, what he sees on the ice. Obviously with Canucks eyes as he's on the home broadcast. Sometimes its actually good that they can control themselves instead of inciting public flocking of referees and players every time it doesn't go our way... Make it easier to cope with mistakes...

Fair point, however.... You have a Canadian team, that is doing well, and on hockey central it sounds like its from Russia... Maybe show them a bit respect... When I hear the Canucks feed, they normally tip their hat to the opposition, if they get done... I just thought it was weird...

What I heard in the first two intermissions was all about the Oilers, what they did well etc etc etc... Canucks were up 3-1 after the first and 4-2 after the second, and she gave zero positive talk about the Canucks... sounded like an Oilers employee.... How about giving the boys some respect... after all its 3rd straight spanking...

Late to the party... what a great show of fight to come back and take them apart again.... Can somebody please explain to me , why this Cassie Campbell spent every interval speaking about the oilers players? Canucks just about won every period, and except for the first 10min, totally dominated the Coilers... In the end, they fell totally apart, and saying she liked seeing McDavid sitting in the box is nothing short of a joke... They are chasing the game, and their biggest thread takes a penalty for being a whiny bitch... Best part was Miller fighting half the team himself, and then come straight out from the box and score... magic. This team is going places

Spot on.... when he suddenly has problems controlling his inner QH, he tends to gets caught flat footed behind the oppositions goal. Still, in his own zone he has also picked it up. He has played a lot better these last 3-4 games.

Fact here is nobody knows, what tomorrow brings, but despite being a family man and having both brothers playing in New Jersey, he may actually like staying here in Vancouver amongst a bunch of talented players... especially if they are winning... I think Hughes is a loyal player, who appreciates the huge honour of being chosen to be the Captain of a (our) hockey team. Best way to hold on to your best players are winning, only few likes to leave a winning team.

That window may be extended, if Willander and Lekkerimaki becomes players as well... the future is bright.
