You really nailed a thing here, that hasn't been mentioned enough...the pro scouting... its lightyears better than what we use to see under Benning. Have to say its hard to find a miss in all the players brought in... Maybe Beau hasn't quite lived up[ to expectation this season, but in general I struggle to find a miss, which is quite astonishing to be honest.... Onwards and upwards....

Yes there is zero doubt, that working in the media make you better equipped to deal with the press.... Bruce was the same.... In saying that, when it all smells like roses, even I may look good infant of the press (not )... but yes, Tocchet has been refreshing, and more importantly, so far the players seem to buy into it as well.... we are having a competitive team this season, and is great to see...

Agree 100%... Love @JamesBs takes on the games, as he knows, but also felt that if Myers pinches on that play, and doesn't get the puck, they are going 2 on 0, if not 3 on 0... Myers staying back, and hooking the player gave Preds a penalty shot, but probably saved a goal. JamesB is always right on point, and have great summarises.

MAGIC...... Man winning is fun... almost forgot, what it feels like to actually watch a proper hockey team... Just love Tocchet.... He is exactly, what was needed... He doesn't let the dirty washing hang to smell.... Before any journalists get the opportunity to fabricate anything, he kills it instantly... His comments on Miller are spot on. And yes, whisper it, but Myers has actually played like a top 4 Dman the last 3 games... hopefully it continues. We need him to, if this run is to continue...

Aye and if Miller had wings, he could fly.... He doesn't and Petey doesn't have Millers body....They both have something that every team needs which makes them both very valuable to the team. One of my favourite non Canucks were Iginla... Miller is an Iginla light, or some what similar to Jamie Benn... We are really lucky to have them both. På And I love to watch Petey...

Millers physicallity is almost underrated... at $8M he is (at the moment) a steal... Nothing to suggest he is going to fall of a cliff edge, like was predicted by some. He will eventually slow down, but his physical play should ensure he'd still be able to do a job in the later part of his contract. I would love to have another Miller in our top 9.... ( or even a Miller light... cheers).

Clear head shot... he extends upwards as he hits OEL... pathetic. On second thoughts he should get extended suspension as the hit occurs more than a second after the puck has gone... wasn't that the issue with Romes hit during the finals.

Yes I'm thrilled to bits, that we've had a great start to the season. For all the folks wanting to not to get carries too far ahead, tough.... Life is too short to worry about, what might happen. We've live through a lot of crap over the years, and taken it in our stride, so I'll the damned, if I'm not gonna enjoy every single game and look at the standings, while it last... Keep it coming I say, what will be, will be... but we're aiming for the stars PS... forgot to mention all the great reports about our prospects.... the sky is the limit...

Its now Tuesday and I've slept a few times over it, and have to somewhat agree, that I don't like VAR (video reviews).... It just spoils the game.... 2 reasons A: the time it takes before fans can actually celebrate a goal, and B: it is still subject to interpretation... I was so angry on Saturday, but whats the point. Bad calls happen every game, so we just have to get even better... I remember, how much I detested that sweaty pig behind the Bruins bench in 2011, because of his constant moaning and complaining about Canucks diving and antics, while Bruins was at least as bad, if not far worse. At the time, I felt they got an unfair amount of refereeing help, but reality was we didn't score enough goals... simples really. I still hate that sweaty pig and rat boy, and the NHL for handing out a 4 game suspension to Rome... that was blatant cheating by the NHL hirachy... onwards and upwards instead. Lets take it out in the Preds instead and keep the run going.
