  1. I was behind Benning although it was getting hard in the end, however having seen what has happened under JR/PAs Stewardship has been nothing but sensational, and I highly doubt Benning could have pulled anything close to this off... I keep thinking, what if Oilers ownership had come in ahead of Canucks and taken JR on instead... I have zero doubt they would have been the cup favourite and likely cup winners with their two top stars... For starters they would have had a better D core and proper bottom players to support them... I praise the lord that Aqualinis hired JR before anyone else did...
  2. Rumours has it 70% of Oiler fans likes sex in the showers.... The remaining 30% haven't been to prison yet....
  3. ^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^ Its down right embarrassing to see them go down, as if they've been shot, while looking at the refs to make a call constantly... The league said at the beginning they would deal with embellishment, but as usual its just empty words... I like the refs have let both teams play to a certain extend, and it has improved the product... Unfortunately they've offset their good performances, by some baffling calls both ways, and then some really poor head scratchers... But I would never cheer for a team that won by cheating... poor sportsmanship... wimpish...
  4. Except they hadn't lost 3 games already after game 5 to LA.... Canucks in 6
  5. F what Oiler fans say or think... We know the truth... Seen every game, so their opinion is irrelevant... There has been the typical missed/wrong calls both ways, and then a few head scratchers to top it off... Its been a great series, and I'd suggest even neutral fans would have liked it... Don't think anyone expected McD to be this well contained... If/When we go through, the boys will have gained a massive amount of self belief, as Jannik Hansen said in his interview, we weren't good a winning 1 goal game before... now we can keep it tight and are in the fight until the end... It matters in playoff hockey. Now let f'ing go and nail these Mf's to the masthead.... GCG
  6. I'd suggest he is more clutch than Kesler, but Kesler was a beast too... McD would have had nightmares with Kesler on his tail as well....
  7. Great lets meet him in the finals and let him pay back for the years of cap penalty we'll have to endure, as his play forced managements hand...
  8. The destroyers have arrived in town... PK as well as in game 5 and it will be a non contest... McD and Dry looked tired in game 5... They are feeling the pounding... keep staple them to the boards... Canucks in 6...
  9. Yeah I get that, my point is, a 2-3 year deal could backfire... If it doesn't according to plan for him, he may not get a good contract at the age of 29... so he'll be looking for a 5-6 year deal with good money now... He may take a 1 year deal and then be a UFA at the age of 27 , if he only gets offered a 2=3 year deal. Would be easier for him to get a good deal at 27 than 29... I guess
  10. Somebody tell him that the 2 games Oilers won, was also by only 1 goal and one of them in OT.... And there is only going to be one game left... Canucks are going to send Oilers packing on Saturday....
  11. Thanks amigo... this is much appreciated...
  12. Would be good for us, but why would Hronek do this?
  13. Doubtful... They both see the writing on the wall...
  14. Got get another 1st OA... once Dry leaves and McD demands a move as well, it'll only be another 10-15 years before you have a team again. oh the tears
  15. I'm not even bothered about the penalty (now)... found it brilliant, That Petey rocked that clown. Petey is not all that soft despite him skinny frame. Good on him to let them have a bit of their own medicine.
  16. Perfect... they are falling apart now... nobody is happy within their camp...
  17. Spot on amigo... Its the joy of sports... We live the highs and lows, even though we are only fans in the stands... But as you say, we can afford to... The players will also be feeling it, although they keep calm on the surface... Both the Petey interview and Millers as well showed they care passionately and are hurting deeply inside... They just can't afford to dwell on it for too long as they have to be at their best 48 hours later... As Tocchet said, its actually amazing they didn't lose the plot on the bench, after those ridiculous calls made... Massive credit to them all to keep the focus, and stay in it despite the calls not going their way... They boys showed their true colours and characters...
  18. I also believe we've broken the camels back... they'll come out swinging, but we will match them. And I think their 2 top players are running low on fuel because of all the minutes played... However, to day is not really a day for dooms day talk, after such a great performance...
