Yeah you may be right, But I think he is hurting badly inside... Nobody who plays a game like Petey will be unmoved by suddenly not being able to do, what he normally does... Time will tell... Whatever it is with Petey, I hope the coaches or Tocchet has a couple of quiet words with him, what, if anything, is bothering him... Without sounding defeatist, we've already had season worth the trades etc. Winning the first round was massive and againngoing toe to toe with one of the favourites is no small feat.... I actually see us win the next one... we can't play much worse, and the team has had a fabulous ability to bounce back after a defeat... One thing stands out... despite being second best in this game, they still almost pulled a rabbit out of the hat, going 2-2 late in the 3rd. Time and time again they've shown their ability to score... It would help if they got Petey going, but not sure how, except changing the lines, then maybe... This game was a typical back against the wall performance. Oilers showed the hunger we did in game 3... Lets start to punish them again... Hopefully Kane gets a game for his cross check.... if so see if Drywhatever is a as smart. Smash him at every opportunity... McD is get, but it looks like its Dry that buries his chances.

Yes spot on. Third man on the line was Bluger (may have been by accident), but they suddenly played hockey and created... The first two periods it was all defending. Tocchet will have to change that line,if he wants to progress, as Lafferty, Mika and Petey are like total strangers on that line. Can I just add, I have not been on Mikas case prior to this game, but to totally not engage and at least hit, when the opportunity arose, I don't get... maybe he is playing hurt.

They are just trying to justify their predictions prior to 1st puck was dropped... Canucks has far more heart and ability that they seemed to think, when they all wanted to ride McD's Dick...

Yes just said the same to HKSR... If you are in funk scoring wise (it happens), at least hit, and defend as if your life depended on it... He just almost coasts... very disappointing..

Yeah I don't quite get, why Petey has sunk so deep, but playing with Mika the black hole and Lafferty won't give him much encouragement... Bluger and Kalsson with Petey actually looked a lot better... Just don't quite get Mika... he had 2-3 big chances to staple an Oiler to the wall but didn't....Go figure... If you can't score, at least hit and defend as if you life depended on it... Not saying we paying them big bucks to do so, but at least that is a help of some sorts.... Doing zilch is helping nobody....

Absolutely... To be fair on Oilers, they jumped out from the start and played like we did in game 3... We need to start better... Though Cole had a tough start to the game, and the unfortunate pinch for a hit, let the Oilers in easily... (not just Juulsens fault as there were play plenty forwards not helping him out)... I believe if Canucks starts on the front foot, they be able to beat them... even convincingly, but they gotta start strong.

Mika has been a massive disappointment since Christmas... first he was just snakebitten, but now it looks like he has totally lost confidence... And unless the get EP going somehow, I fear it won't end well...

What an anti climax to the game.... But we are more than able to compete... Just not enough to do it at the end of the game... Hopefully take the next at home... Silovs played well again... But there are a few players that need to take a long hard look at themselves, and its not the Miller or Lindholm line... Give Petey some flipping linemates... instead of a black hole, who skates like the wind, but doesn't hit and barely defend....
