But regardless of whom the player is, and what team he plays for, that kind of cowardly attacks, just because you don't like the way a player score a goal should be hammered... Cross checking in the face 5 games... Elder missed a check and got 4 games for intensions... and Rome got 4 during the finals (which = 16 games after the thumb of rule during play offs)... If they feel hard done to, take a number and smash him next game... Different story if you jumped a player, who had run or injured your star player... Like Hansen did, when Kadri ran Danny... To think Kadri didn't get a suspension for that hit, while Zad gets 2 games says everything there is to be said about the DPOS..... rotten to the core and the reason this piece of shit is appealing.

If they reduce or keep the 5 games, everyone else might as well appeal their suspensions regardless of length... and NHL better be careful as they could be setting precedent, and every suspension should be reduced then...

I'd say it has ended with this management team.... JTs contract and Bo being shipped out showed the management no longer was push overs. Garlands contract is a million too much. Agree 100% on that, as he doesn't PK and are not a crash and bang, so when he is off, for what ever reason like last year, he is not worth $5M. Atm he probably is though... that line is worth its weight in gold, but only as long as they produce... However players like Joshua, who can score, make plays, skate, hit, fight and PK are expensive. That's not your ordinary bottom 6 player. If Garland goes this summer, I wouldn't be surprised to see Joshua get a stint in the top 6.... Other than that I agree, that costs of the bottom 6 has to be kept low.

Spot on Coaching and the ability to pick players on cheap contracts able to do the business... This so far from what we are used to... best Management team (short sample size) I can remember. Their ability to act instantly, if somethings doesn't work is also commendable. Not waiting for players to maybe regain form. Hard bargains... Allvin is top notch and a cert for GM of the year, unless the team totally implodes... The turnaround has been remarkable.

Was anout to say the same... what a great example of confidence and coaches trust/help. Juulsen is so secure on the backend that he is a certain starter next year. won't cost a Million, and while Myers 'may' be better at skating the puck out, Juulsen is the far more assure defender. He had a few really good outlet passes, and he rately serves up pizzas down the middle. Brilliant play by him.

That is my point. Hogs maybe a short term contract, as he is still raw, but Joshua is 27 and looking to be paid. Not sure PA is prepared to break the bank for him, with both Petey and Hronek rises as well as Hogs. If Joshua signs any deal for $3M it will be like winning the lottery just now. career year, so he has to get a good deal now to secure his future. With us getting havinh $5M cap penalty coming up in a year, plan/contracts will have to be made to deal with that. Hope he stays, want him to stay, but not sure they'll have the money, he may be offered elsewhere.

Not sure tbh.... quite incredible... Had a good feeling going into the season, but that was more towards being a playoffs team. The moves made suggested management saw the potential, and they have certainly repaid the faith management had in them...

I think its shameless, they ice a roster this poor, (now that I said that, they'll probably beat us...). what the point of having lofts in the NHL when you just over pay for scrubs, so you can finish bottom of the pile... Wonder if they'd keep Bedard on the i jured list longer than necessary, just to ensure they stay bottom. I'm still sick in my stomach over them being gifted Bedard... and now they could end up with Celebrini too... Two years of sucking ass (this and perhaps next) and the next 15 , they'll play for full houses and likely be in the playoffs many years. Surely the playoffs revenue will cover for lost revenue...
