Reading the PGTs after a loss, suggests you are not the only one not realising it... The moans and unhappiness is absolutely unreal after a loss or a few poor performances... 2 weeks ago it was suggested Petey should be traded... Enjoy the ride folks... it doesn't happen that often.

Myers to a contender... are we not a contender? I'm all for stocking the cupboards, but with the way they are playing they deserve a crack at the title, if they continue this level of play. Don't think the room will be too impressed, if the by far best team we've had since 2011, is being dismantled prior to the playoffs. Even if they bring other pieces in... When you hear them speak in interviews, Myers seems to have the respect of the other players...

Likely 2 windows... First window this year and next... OEL max penalty...2025/2026 and 2026/2027 Second window 2027/2028 and a few years after that, depending on the length of Peteys and Hughes contract extensions. For the second window, Miller will likely have slowed down, and be no more than a second/third line centre (who knows), but Lekkerimaki and Villander will be on the team, maybe on ELCs maybe second contracts. There are more players in pipeline that may be able to give cheap support at that time. But don't wait and hope for it to happen.... strike while the iron is hot.... Go for it.

They did try hard during our bubble run... But yes he doesn't always play to his size... Not sure he really has that nastiness in him.

Myers has a love / hate relationship with the fans... When the team is struggling, he just seems to be caught constantly in bad positions, but when he is on, he is awesome. During the Bubble playoffs run, he was the strongest and toughest of our defenders. Got penalised time and time again for being big compared to other players... This its one of the reasons he doesn't play really hard, as he'll just get sent to cool off... Now he isn't alone in playing hard hockey on the backend, so less focus towards Myers. I expect him to be really good come playoffs. Whether its because he has better playing partners, or its because of coaching, I don't know, but he has definitely found the melody again.

He did destroy Duncan Keith.... For that alone, I will forever be grateful for him... One of the best hits for the Canucks this last decade...

3 games, 4 nights, no problem..... 16 goals scored. 24-0-0 when leading after two... Sedinery for Peteys goal... .500 would be ok for this road trip... looks like it could be even better. What a team..... On a side note, the Tocchet interview was really good... At no stage was it "I" but constantly 'We"... They are in this together... Cool.....
