A sexual assault is still a sexual assault to a victim despite the perpetrators naivety.lack of a moral compass is a weak argument as the victims will never for the rest of their life be the same no matter how much therapy they get,I personally know this.the sentencing laws for sexual assault are joke in this country,they should reflect the lingering damage done to the victims and their families that have to also carry that burden as well.life sentence for a life sentence,in my opinion they are the same population regardless of varying degrees of intent.anybody who has committed a crime should rehabilitate themselves as only that individual can face the depth of truth that they expose to themselves.obviously.but no one’s personal growth will ever detract from that kind of crime.lt reminds me of a nice person who drinks and drives and ends up killing somebody,they didn’t mean for someone to die and they are really sorry because now they realize the severity of their actions,but to late.somebody is dead and some family now has had the trajectory of their lives changed forever.that driver will never be the same hopefully but not even close to the victims lives.and isn’t it what it’s all about,the victims not the poor perpetrator who used poor judgment?I get what you’re saying and this is only my opinion based on my own personal experience of being a victim and the experience of my own mother being a victim as well.I appreciate the civility of your opinion,cheers

Seems like a glut of wingers every where,how tight against the cap are they?I know they have wingers out the Yang Yang but I think the flexibility of his one year remaining could help other teams roll the dice.like I said what he brings can be replaced but he’s not bad just not what we need.if he made less it would be helpful.

My theory is French guy ,French market ,versatile winger who technically can play centre if needed .on a contract year,this could elevate his game a little more.if things don’t pan out the Habs have a choice to sign probably at a reasonable price or maybe let him go as what he does bring can be replaced. If i remember correctly they have a slew of third rounders next couple of years.I know they have a lot of wingers but i think he might be a step above what they currently have.

Your reply has merit,for a lot of situations. I know of a friend at work who made a non offensive joke to someone who took issue with it and got him in trouble. I think for him it’s don’t joke with someone in that particular manner unless you know that person has a sense of humour.(it was religious in nature but not offensive to me but obviously to this guy).past behaviour dictates future behaviour a lot of times.maybe it’s not about hurt feelings but crossed boundaries?Torts probably hurt a lot of feelings but didn’t have a history of veteran players calling him a horrible human.no corporation wants to pay anybody 8 million to go fishing for two years over hurt feelings.maybe management is the one who thought they don’t want their up and coming team to be managed in that matter and maybe the players just shared that they didn’t like it but felt like they didn’t have any recourse and moved on?hopefully more comes out!a person can be nice to some and horrible to others,nothing is really black and white but a lot of gray in between.so let’s see how this pans out.cheers
