That would match their exact amount from a few seasons ago.
But after I thought about it, it might make more sense to be under a bit.
What does being a bit under benefit? Just asking cause I don’t know

Well my time is done advocating for how awesome Z is and that we lost a good one,
Now go F yourself Nikita

Silovs for $1,015,833.oo. My guess.
That keeps us out of LTIR that number doesn’t it?

Yea I thought we could get a guy like Edmundson on a cheaper 1-2 year deal. Even he went for term and almost 4 mil.Insane brother absolutely insane. TJ Brodie got some deal like that too, nuts

I don’t see Forbort and Desharnais being penciled into the 5-6 spots.
I see them being guys that are ahead of Juulsen so we have more depth and he’s not a regular. Juulsen has taken big steps but he should not be a regular in the lineup.
I would take a flyer on Boqvist. He’s still young enough to salvage and the upside is good.
Boqvist or Bransson (sp?) I’d take a flyer on. Just to have a guy that can move the puck and we might luck out with a top 6 Dman

Overall pretty content with the signings today. There were some insane contracts going out and glad the Nucks stayed away.
Insane is a good way to put it. I knew it would be bad but turned out worse than I thought. Paying guys big money until they’re 40. Or guys that were a cap dump signing huge deals. Old ass defencemen getting monster deals. Outrageous day

Am I the only one that doesn’t see Podkolzin as more than a bottom 6 grinder?
No, he still could be a number of things, but playing it safe I’d say bottom 6 forward. Looks really nice on paper though doesn’t it

Not so fun.
I’m as confident that Petey will be fine as much as some fans are confident with management,
I’m very confident

I'll say this, though, Pettersson really needs to take his game to the next level. We can't be paying for that type of production and have him go missing while the team improves.

Podkolzin is only 23, most power forwards don't really figure out their game till 24 / 25
I agree but they also don’t figure it out too. Fingers crossed, even if he can be a bottom 6 guy that chips in would be nice

my gut says no.
I mean if Podkolzin turned into a first line player then I’d say so but I think that’s a big stretch at this point

As long as it’s for a mid 20’s higher end forward, I wouldn’t mind at all. It would be similar to what we gave up for Hronek
Definitely just not for rental

Trending to be a bigger thread then Debrusk

It would have to be Garland. Having said that I think we're done on forwards until the TDL.
I hope they don’t move the 1st this year. Feel like you should only do that every couple years if your competitive, lots of the top teams still had their picks in the first round this year

Why are we paying this guy Quinn Hughes money …. This clown was a giveaway machine in the corners against the oilers
So basically what your saying is you don’t understand hockey

I think the top 4 D man ship has sailed unless they can convince Schultz to sign for cheap.I think goal scorer for Petey still needs to be looked at.
It would have to be a trade. They aren’t signing anyone else unless it’s >million. Defence should be a priority. Peteys fine. He was well over a 100 point pace before his injury and contract stuff
-
Our forward group is set now, if anything we need a top 4 Dman. I doubt they are interested in Necas now if they at all were to begin with

Sounds like Bruins fans liked the guy. Do it all kinda guy. Glad we at least got some youth. Way better than some of the other forwards that got signed to similar deals. I bet this way plan B though. I think Allvin and co really wanted a big fish

Trade Poolman to the Ducks
Someone might want him for LTIR now if we can stay out of it

It was a good rebound by management. They addressed needs.
Also, as much as I loved Zad, Desharnais was good for EDM and was critical on the PK. That's going to make our PK even better. We have a good blueline.
I thought we could take advantage of him when Desharnais was on the ice but he always seemed to get the puck out on us. I’m optimistic about the signing

Just ran through all the signings today. Holy shit, teams over spent.
Wennberg 5 million lol
Stephenson 6.25
Monohan 5.5
lindholm 7.75
no wonder we didn’t bother with a center

I’m not sure about Sherwood, but DeBrusk and Heinen are good two way guys.
Will need to be to help some of our lumbering D get the puck out.
Could work. Definitely still a tough team to play against.
Sherwood pissed me off playing against him, good enough for me

I remember Deb calling him Fartbox or something when we were playing Winnipeg. Lol
Anyways, depth is good
