I've wondered that myself, Joe. 

Whether him focusing on defense so much has him overthinking everything in an unnatural way for him. That he's the type of player you mostly just let play on instinct.

He is struggling, because he's not scoring

He should just shoot asap, rather than think, rely on instincts right away, rather than think and lose the moments advantage I know we have been saying that he is due to have a good game, but this a a big game to do it, without the pressure of a game 7

i think EP is at his best when he have a winger that have a good offensive IQ with playmaking ability. we can in the past there's always a playmaker on his wing. his first year he have goldobin and boeser. boeser's passing is underrated here.. and goldobin as ineffective as he is is prolly still better than the current wingers in playmaking ability.. heck none of them have more assist than goldobin in less games played in a season. Kuzmenko is a playmaker boeser/miller when the lotto line was kinda effective is a playmaker. without a secondary lesser playmaker on the line that is creative other team continuously double team him
