this management group has almost changed bennings mistakes hughes and myers are still left. i haven't seen him play yet but i prefer cole on the 3rd pair instead of myers. as a 3rd pair 1 mil dollar player, myers would have been okay. i look forward to our defense being; hughes and willander; kudryavtsev and brustewicz; pettersson and johansson. and hronek. -
anyone seen my old buddy curmudgeon? he grew up in the same neighborhood as me and went to carleton school, but several years later. hope he makes it over too.

i keep thinking that if miller and boeser play together, they'll need a fast skating, good defensive forward to make that line successful. my choice would be mikheyev. what do you think?

@smithers joe to your point about EP and AK needing someone who plays tough, the first guy that comes to mind that would probably be on their wavelength would be Podkolzin, but since he's waivers exempt and we have a logjam at forward, there's a good chance he'll start the season in Abby. The other guy that I think might be tentatively slotted in for that role would be Dakota Joshua.
As for a defensive-minded forward for BB and JTM, Mikheyev would seem to be the obvious choice, though if he's assigned by Dick Tocch to a more fitting role elsewhere, then the team may need another player to redefine their game and play that defensive role. Höglander would probably have to be the one to redefine their game, given he's on the bubble.
