Flawed Human

Doing my best to always find the cup at least half to three quarters full and find the joy in every moment despite life not always feeling very fair.
(Sorry, Joe... I know it won't fit in those lines on application forms where it says "Title" but in all the time you've known me, have I EVER been able to say it in 2 words when 24 will do? )it is all good, good heart. hearing people's stories, is like, medicine for the soul.
thanks for answering.

I'm sorry for your loss, and thank you for the words. It is getting easier, slowly. I understand the process and have a fantastic support system around me which I am very thankful for, I honestly don't know what I would have done without them. This experience has changed me for the better and there have been huge changes in my life, I was her primary caregiver for 6+ months so I couldn't work, I've lost everything and have to start over, I'm ok with that, I mostly feel sad for what she had to go through, she never complained, was never angry and never said "Why me?" I just miss her.....
this didn't help at the time but gave some me some peace later on. the day before my wife died, two friends came over and related this story.
their daughter had given birth to a baby but was hemoraging inside. the ambulance raced her from smithers to a hospital in terrace.
the parents went with her. as they raced along the daughter died. the paramedic, used the paddles and sparked life back into her.
the daughter asked, where is my husband? they said, he is the the car following us. she said, no he's not, i was just back there and
he wasn't there. then she died again. again the paramedic revived her. she asked, where was i just at? she said it was the most peaceful, wonderfull place she'ld ever been and she didn't want to come back. then she died again. she didn't come back.

i can tell you , you will recover. i lost my wife to cancer 19 years ago. i'll never forget her, but it gets easier in time.

when i worked as a custodian at our high school, i wrote the words of an old frank sinatra tune.
i've been a poet, a pirate, a pawn and a king. then said now i clean to the very bowells of this school.
in fact i've been a selfish kid, a full of wonder dork, a struggler and a put it all together finally.
i haven't really put it all together but i'm content in my own skin.

That's a really great question. I've had two really distinct periods in my adult life and they probably both deserve their own title. In my teens and early 20s I was partying a lot and had problems with alcohol. But I was doing well at work (was in the Army) and my god was I in good shape. 6 - 9 training sessions a week, trying to be well rounded and not focus on just getting bigger. In 2015 I could ruck 40km in a day, run a mile in under 5 minutes, and squat and deadlift respectable weight for reps. It sure helped to get a paid hour in each work day to go to the gym!
Now I'm an accountant, married with kids, I haven't touched alcohol in 9 years, and I certainly would not be described as a 'partier'. I still try to stay in decent shape, but nothing compared to my Army days. Different goals, just want to be healthy enough to watch my kids grow up and be fit and active when they're adults. If my kids decide they want kids of their own one day, I want to be able to be down on the floor playing with my grand kids.
now, can you break them down to one or two words?

with me, earlier, i was always trying to live up to what i thought people wanted me to be. i always struggled and failed.
as a staff we did this and also with young offenders. we asked them questions about their home life, friends and dreams.
then we asks them to take all that and put in one or two words. amazing, when being honest, your answer can be quite accurate.
one staff member said his was a walking geographic magazine.

It's a good life if you don't weaken
I've had a lot of struggles in life. But I always knew that what I wanted to be most of all was a mother. And I have been blessed with two of the best kids so my life has been incredible and my heart is full.
It's the simple things that make me happy.
i thought yours would be animal protector.

That looooooooong nose 1973 Charger? Even the 1949 Plymouth would be amazing. Do you remember the engine you had in the Charger? I think they stopped putting Hemi's in starting in 1973. Yes a well preserved Charger would be worth quite a lot.
don't remember that. trouble enough remember years and makes.
