is the game in seattle tomorrow being televised?
-
what channel is tonight game on? can't find it on my tv?
-
i liked hirose and studnika's games. didn't like how calgary man handled canucks physically.
-
top shelve hockey says that colorado is looking for a back up goalie and vancouver has too many. he wonders is the two team could work something out?

On what planet does Colorado even remotely consider that @canucks curse

10 players signed for next year. i'm sure they will add pettersson, hronek and likely joshua to that number.
they should be able to get the right mix then.

welcome mudge, glad to see you made it. i would still like to know the reason cdc was shut down?
-
Hi, Joe. I really don't know why CDC was shuttered, but the new forum will be better because it won't be run by the team/NHL. I don't think ownership/management has really thought this through. If they want to control what fans are saying, well, that won't work. And if the new forum needs money to keep going, I will gladly chip in.
Hope all is well with you and that you had a great summer. Now it's back to hockey and I can't wait.

i liked it when JR said, we have 2 more contracts to move and we'll be able to do the things they want to do, with this team.
sounds like maybe moving out 10 mil will do it. plus he said next year some contracts they don't want, will come off the books.
gotta love good ol jim.

but what if we could sign bear to a multi year deal at 1.9M 2 or 3 years... basically our myers replacement next year... and if thats true we might lose one of these players to waivers signing bear doesnt change much as we could still have 8 defenceman and will still be at risk losing one of them anyways... we could always send down irwin if it was really important to management... basically trading irwin for bear

one thing about pearson, he was a strong board battler. hope we move a soft forward for another pearson.
-
what canuck players are hard to play against?
-
gee, i'm getting a good reputation on here. maybe its time to ask for a loan.
-
anyone seen my old buddy curmudgeon? he grew up in the same neighborhood as me and went to carleton school, but several years later. hope he makes it over too.

i keep thinking that if miller and boeser play together, they'll need a fast skating, good defensive forward to make that line successful. my choice would be mikheyev. what do you think?

@smithers joe to your point about EP and AK needing someone who plays tough, the first guy that comes to mind that would probably be on their wavelength would be Podkolzin, but since he's waivers exempt and we have a logjam at forward, there's a good chance he'll start the season in Abby. The other guy that I think might be tentatively slotted in for that role would be Dakota Joshua.
As for a defensive-minded forward for BB and JTM, Mikheyev would seem to be the obvious choice, though if he's assigned by Dick Tocch to a more fitting role elsewhere, then the team may need another player to redefine their game and play that defensive role. Höglander would probably have to be the one to redefine their game, given he's on the bubble.
