  1. Higgins was a solid soldier, felt like Sutter was here longer
  2. On the twentieth day of Canuckmas, Canucks lore gave to me Jim Hargreaves 1971 George Gardner 1972 Bobby Lalonde 1972-1977 Drew Callander 1979 Bill Derlago 1979 John Hughes 1980 Gerry Minor 1980-1984 Grant Martin 1984-1985 Steve Tambellini 1986-1988 Ronnie Stern 1989-1991 Andrew McBain 1992 Anatoli Semenov 1993 José Charbonneau 1994-1995 Christian Ruuttu 1995 Evgeny Namestnikov 1996 Alexander Semak 1997 Dave Scatchard 1998-2000 Denis Pederson 2000-2002 Darren Langdon 2003 Ryan Kesler 2004-2006 Jeff Cowan 2007-2008 Jesse Schultz 2007 Guillaume Desbiens 2010 Chris Higgins 2011-2016 Ryan Parent 2011 Brandon Sutter 2017-2021 Curtis Lazar 2023
  3. I'd consider taking Mantha, he's expiring cap, but Washington would have to add They have three 2025 2nd's, could always trade Kuzmenko for Mantha+ and then pay to dump Mantha on a bottom feeder or just wait it out Could open space for a more significant move if Allvin is inclined to make one Would free up cap space, if Kuzmenko isn't in the top six it's not as if we'd be losing much
  4. With Nuge locked in it could be argued they wouldn't even need a 2c back
  5. Honestly, Zachy V and the other Avenged guys should just do punk on the side You can tell they spent time mixing with the Cali punk scene while coming up
  6. Realistically they'll probably just try and flip his rights if Nikita's ask doesn't align with their vision and I'd be fine with that Open to keeping him, absolutely, not interested in paying him as a 4 if Soucy comes back and he ends up playing 5 minutes though Nikita brings positive attributes but I'd rather management get a longer look at him as a Canuck before extending him in order to ascertain exactly what he is Zadorov was a 5 in Calgary, he had Weegar, Hanifin, Tanev, and Andersson ahead of him I'm open to reallocating more cap from our forward group to our D, I've been saying it's something we should be doing for a while, but that doesn't mean I'm interested in overpaying guys
  7. Canucks need to be willing to walk away if his ask is too high, it's not like they gave up much He's maybe a 4, large and a good skater or not
  8. Duchene quietly up to 27 points in 29 games, Nashville's loss
  9. Hopefully he can stay healthy when he's back, been a rough couple years for him
  10. Not as many nineteens, but somehow there were four in 1980? On the nineteenth day of Canuckmas, Canucks lore gave to me Dale Tallon 1971 Rich Lemieux 1972-1974 Ron Stewart 1972 Glen Richardson 1976 Jim Wiley 1976-1977 Derek Sanderson 1977 Claire Alexander 1978 Roland Eriksson 1979 Rob Tudor 1979-1980 Steve Hazlett 1980 Greg Hubick 1980 Kris Manery 1980 Mario Marois 1981 Ron Delorme 1982-1985 Dale Dunbar 1986 Jim Sandlak 1987-1990 Petr Nedvěd 1991-1993 Tim Hunter 1994-1996 Markus Näslund 1997-2008
