This was actually one of my favourite CDC threads so I'm going to throw it up for posterity, similar to the Burrows thread also being here. Takes me back to 2011 shenanigans, the Canucks were a lot of fun during the late 2000's/early 2010's and CDC reflected that. I've dug through the old CDC thread and posted what's still accessible, a lot of them have photobucket markers on them now or disappeared alongside tinypic, but some remain. I've thrown up the stuff preserved by Pass it to Bulis as well, they plucked quite a few from CDC given they used to frequent it. Behold, Raffi in all his bowling ball glory!

Tomorrow is CDC's last day, feels bad because I know a lot of folks who don't pop in regularly will eventually go looking for it and be unable to find it. I'm not sad CDC is going under, I'm disappointed that so much history is being lost in the form of threads, users, and posts.

On that we can agree, defense and tending let us down in a big way last season, although one could argue our bottom six did as well. They've tweaked both the D and bottom six, we'll see if it's enough. Demko getting off to a good start is key though, the Canucks can't afford to a dig themselves a hole early a third time in a row.

Sure, but maybe a change of scenery will help him rebound, goaltending was an issue and he owns some of that but it's not as if we were a stalwart defensive team last season either He seemed like an okay dude, I don't mind him getting an opportunity elsewhere

Monthly Sign-Ups We can always change how we format this going forward if there's enough feedback to push us back to week to week, we'll see how the monthly format works for people. Aye, and that's a big deal because Zucc's new extension is set to expire the same year Kaprizov's deal is up. They have three seasons to sell Kaprizov on sticking around, he is the engine that drives the Wild. Sure, he'll be 30 when his deal is up but as it stands he's their gamebreaker. Mind you Boldy took a big step forward last season, he could develop into being a gamebreaker as well if he can build on this past season. What Rossi ends up being is anyone's guess.

I'm kinda hoping he doesn't end up being the superstar folks project him to be, more of a first line talent than a generational talent. Why? Because he was drafted by the Hawks.
