  1. Weren't you saying it makes more sense to move Skjei @aGENT? If they want to get over the hump and win another cup keeping Pesce makes sense. They have a lot of flex with Orlov being on a two year deal.
  2. Not surprising that they'd honor his body of work as a Bruin, if they want an older guy he makes the most sense Pasta or McAvoy probably get it next
  3. Agreed, the infusion of new blood via lurkers turning poster is really nice to see Broadens the pool of posters, views, and opinions, makes engaging around here more interesting
  4. I'd rather have kept the picks but we'll see how he looks over the course of a larger sample size Gotta give to get at the end of the day, I just hope it ends up having been worth it
  5. If they talk while actually being informed people will begin to expect it
  6. We're behind them and Vegas imo, probably Edmonton too Fighting for that third seed or a wildcard, jockeying with Calgary and whoever is I'm third
  7. Zegras to the Canucks for Boeser, Podz and a 1st, Alf goes on a three day bender e5
  8. Habs fans seem okay with it, if not kinda meh Seems about the same here, if not a bit more positive Probs an even trade then
  9. The girls are ready for Halloween too, I wouldn't say Meisha cares for it though Phee is fine being a hot dog
  10. All the best to Tanner

  11. They're my partner's but I help take care of em and stuff
  12. They don't, but that makes it more likely they'd have to actually want him and not an asset they could have gotten imo He also gives us size on the back end which is important as there's not a ton of it up front
  13. I'd be surprised, I think he stays, I don't see there being much of a demand for him at his cap hit regardless of actual dollars paid It's a one year deal, I think it'd be shortsighted to give up anything of value to move him when at worst he's a guy with top 4D experience who can step up in a pinch, assuming he doesn't start in the top 4 I suspect he'd do just fine in a smaller role, and on a team more committed to defense, which we should be if we want to make the playoffs
  14. Agreed, I was saying I'd like us to bolster our goalie scenario as recently as last week, DeSmith is a more suitable option than Martin or Silovs
  15. Pearson is a middle six forward who brings an element of size, will mix it up in scrums and fight occasionally, put up complimentary offense, and who brings a defensive conscience to any line he's on If Montreal is out of it near the deadline, and that's likely, he's probably a guy they look to flip
  16. I think it boils down to most people expecting some sort of cost, we had to move cap It was never likely to dump a medium to larger sized hit without giving something up Just so happens we got a more established NHL backup to boot
