There are apparently hurt feelings on the part of the captain, maybe even deservedly so over the way the club’s intentions were splashed all over the papers and the internet last week. If Trouba does not approve a trade to Detroit that is believed in place, he will ultimately be sent somewhere else, perhaps by waivers. Dunno, I think him and his agent probably realize teams are going to be cagey about giving him extensive term I don't think he's washed up either, he just hit a career high in goals He'll be 34 in December, I could see teams offering him 2-3 years at like 5-7M His production has been pretty stable throughout his Vegas tenure

The speculation from a day or two ago was that him and Verhaughe are both done and that Reinhart will probably come in at 9-9.5M, that still sounds pretty right to me
