  1. Stoked about the new Linkin Park era, looking forward to more music I know a lot of fans have mixed feelings but simply put, the band existed before Chester was in it and belongs to the other guys just as much as it did to Chester, if not moreso If they want to keep the band going and make new music as Linkin Park more power to them, odds are Chester would love the new song and incoming album
  2. Not bad looking at all, it'll be interesting to see what they eventually settle on regarding their actual name and jersey designs
  3. Haha, hadn't even thought of that, I just threw it up because Vintage always did May have to poke around for a replacement image at some point
  4. It's nuts how bad it gets for some guys, sounds much needed Sometimes I question the players who keep going as their bodies break down
  5. They can commiserate with their fellows who own "Let's Go Brandon" merch
  6. Yeah, JP's a full blown grifter at this point, he's a predatory piece of a shit. Not keen on the Americanization of Canadian politics but we've been seeing it for a while and we're worse off for it.
  7. Probably, the NDP want progressive legislation going through before a federal election don't they? They don't get that if PP gets in sooner than later. Could be what this is about in part, JT's just got too much baggage at this point and that doesn't benefit the Liberals. Thing is, it doesn't benefit the NDP either, strong arming a party leader who looks to be on his way out to get Canadians more supports is a better look for the NDP. Libs are on notice, it's time for a change, which is what most folks who aren't keen on PP have been saying around here for a while. Cut Trudeau loose and suddenly the Cons lose a lot of ammunition.
  8. The fact that any BC politician is cozying up to him at all is concerning, let alone a provincial party leader. What a putz.
  9. Something something about the French and their guillotines..
  10. It's September, which means that hockey season is creeping closer and closer. Been an interesting summer for once, usually they're kinda dead. Anyway, figured I'd get this thread back up and running again, as is tradition at this point. As always, if @Vintage Canuck wants his thread back he's more than welcome to take it back on again. Training camp and preseason await, the Canucks are coming off an actual playoff appearance, and expectations are higher than they probably were this time last season. Be interesting to see who makes the cut and how things play out as teams try to sort out their regular season rosters. 11. Teams have given up low and mid picks for depth towards the deadline countless times, it's a low commitment move for Calgary
  12. If they put him in a position to rack up points he may get them a decent return at the deadline
  13. I think the bigger issue is that we simply haven't been drafting enough high end youth regularly, and that we've typically failed to get NHL'ers out of guys who aren't first round picks for a while now. Drafting and development have long been issues for the Canucks, unfortunately it's still too early for us to have seen the fruits of the revamped development side of the Canucks organization at the NHL level. Drafting Willander and Lekkerimaki was great, but we need more of that. It'd also be nice if management would actually draft in the second round more often too, that's been an issue that's plagued the Canucks for at least the past couple decades. As it stands our prospect pool still leaves quite a bit to be desired.
