  1. Seems unlikely they'd take Mikheyev imo They'd have interest in Demko though, certainly, but that's a tough one Demko is one of the best in the league when healthy but his health has been more questionable in recent years, Silovs was a hero come playoff time but we've seen other tenders get hot at the right time too, what we've seen from him is still a relatively small sample size I'd personally be surprised if they move Demko sooner than later but you never know, he's only got a couple seasons left on his deal and he'll be due for quite the raise if he can maintain a high level of play I'd be less surprised to see him moved next offseason
  2. That's the truly wild part The 2003 draft is viewed as one of the greatest, and a 7th round pick leads it in goal and points https://www.hockey-reference.com/draft/NHL_2003_entry.html
  3. Good catch, that wouldn't have been an easy thing to do at all
  4. Karlsson would be intriguing, feel like he'd be more useful to the club than Jeannot Jeannot type players are useful but it was rather apparent that we need more in our top six come playoff time
  5. Joe Pavelski is 1 of 6 players with 3+ seasons of 65+ points after turning 37 https://stathead.com/tiny/zpzwK?utm_source=direct&utm_medium=Share&utm_campaign=ShareTool
  6. How serendipitous for New Jersey https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/2922346/devils-gm-open-to-trading-10th-pick-wants-goalie
  7. His longevity combined with his consistency made him a helluva outlier, top end players tend to age better but he was never supposed to be a top end player, what he was doing in his late 30's was nuts Which makes it all the more impressive really
  8. I suppose there's a caveat, but it very much sounds like he's done
  9. I don't think he'll end up here, and I really don't care if he doesn't. Yeah, I recognize what he brings but there are other options out there. I also think he'll stay in Dallas somehow.
  10. Ottawa needs another RD to help Zub in their top four, more than likely they try and find one via moving Chychrun imo.
  11. He'd be an interesting option but I probably wouldn't like what it'd cost to land him.
  12. Edmundson is interesting, he'll be 31 in June though and more than likely isn't the same player he was while he was in St. Louis. Lyubushkin should garner a good amount of attention as a solid D who won't break the bank.
  13. If he's moved he'll probably end up out East, he moved to support his wife's career if I remember correctly. Seems unlikely he comes out west, let alone northwest again.
  14. Probably the dreariest part of the Oilers moving on, was rooting for Pavs
  15. Dude finds way to go deep and reach (and win) championships, this will be his fourth finals appearance in five years He's 1/4 so far, maybe he'll hit 2/5
  16. Panthers in six, Barkov and Forsling will go a long way towards quieting the Oil
  17. Disappointing showing by Dallas, their offense just dried up I was sure they'd come out of the west, too bad, guess I'm rooting for Florida now
  18. Not sure I see much point in making a June version and anything that happens come July will probably end up in the trade section I'll probably start this up again in September
  19. I've been down on vacation on the island the past couple weeks, we're in Merritt right now so we're on our way back up You'll see more of me soon
