  1. just read some of the comments... what you say is silly... RNH is amazing... no one in their right mine would say garland is better than RNH... he put up a 100 points... and Hyman is the perfect top 6 forward he literally has it all
  2. yes we should... if we can trade garland for hyman IMO Hyman is that much better and garland is not going to get any better... the older players on their last contract will give it their all to win a cup, because there is nothing left to lose, they tend to find another gear.. 30 isnt old, he's healthy and strong...
  3. to be fair beauvillier is only a bottom 6 on a good team... he has shown he can play with the big boys, he has all the tools, i think its just a mind game that holds him back... Garland is just too small and not particularly fast and doesnt play well with others... the best qualities of a effective top sixer IMO in no particular order is... size, speed, skill (offensive)a high hockey IQ(doesnt matter if its offensive or defensive) other intangibles like toughness, feistiness, defensive skill are a tier lower... (all these things can be taught) the little things that Jim benning thought that made a winner were just wrong
  4. looks like Demko is starting, first off the ice on game day practice pretty much confirms it.
  5. its funny cause i always thought he was one of our more physical players... 4 fights 1 this year... and is 32nd in the league for hits per/60
  6. you dont think having a line that averages 5,9" and 175lb would be an issue?
  7. yup i agree... glad we have Joshua, someones face is getting smashed in tonight maybe multiple...
  8. many say he's been playing hurt for a while... i think it happened in the third period of the first game. First when we put in Casey DeSmith and second when we put out our first Powerplay... poor kids traumatized
  9. but he is better than garland NOW... when we are likely having or best chance at winning in over a decade... so he regresses a bit... older teams win cups not younger ones...
  10. covid is pretty much non- existent now... should i get one more vaccine just to be safe?

@Dankmemes187 Covid is not nonexistent. I know two different coworkers who just tested positive for COVID in the BC area.

  11. this is an unedited post... you answered someone than quoted your answer form the same post and answered yourself.... you opened the wrong bag of 1 Lb gummies dude...
  12. Go Canucks Go! 6-2 Nucks. Hughes with the game winner
  13. Alexandr Grischuk about cheating - Chess.com please note this is a russian grand master translating from russian to english below, so its hard to read... Grandmaster Alexand "I think online chess as a whole is doomed. But I think that we, chess players, can do something - first of all, start treating cheating differently. Now the attitude is: "well, cheater, nothing special" and this needs to be changed. I don't want to say that I am D'Artagnan, and everyone around is not good people, no, this also concerns me. I also say hello to people who, I'm sure, are cheaters. There are very few of them, literally four people. I try not to talk once again, but to say hello, I say hello, so there is also my fault. I believe that the attitude towards this should become completely negative, because this is "rat-ratting". You are not stealing money from Chess.com or from FIDE, you are not fighting with the "system". No, you steal from your colleagues, comrades. The attitude towards such people should become like towards rats. So that they become complete outcasts in the chess environment. Here the responsibility is on us, on the players, including me. As in life, each of us can't do anything on our own, but together we can do virtually anything." "Everyone is very concerned about the feelings of suspected cheaters. I don't quite understand it. If you played fair and you were accused of cheating, this is the best compliment. I dream of being accused of cheating. It will mean that I have finally played a great game, at least one tournament, one game. Playing with a cheater for an honest person is a wild blow to the psyche. When you lose to a cheater and you don't know for sure, there's nothing worse. You completely lose confidence in yourself. During such a game, not a single idea, not a single tactics works. You're just being smeared. Therefore, there is a big question whose feelings need to be protected."
  14. i suppose we should all learn from him too... lets not get too emotional over the good and bad stuff, keep it even keel. one thing that impresses me is how he runs team meetings, making the guys say the stuff that needs to be said, it really helps when your team gets involved
  15. nailed it on the head... with mikheyev and petey... and friggin brock and miller are playing the best defensive hockey i have ever seen them play... Kuzy has much room to improve defensively and well PDG i think hes playing well above his contract value, wont likely complain about his bad mistakes at all this season... playing 18 minutes a night against the teams number 1 line and looking like he belongs
  16. hey man why dont you chill and enjoy the game... we know you are a big canucks fan, perhaps the biggest... you dont need to copy paste everything canucks some of its low quality and our own members would likely create something even better...
  17. hey how about the perseverance trophy should we add mikheyev to that?
  18. so many people were calling cole a bottom 6 dman... but he was playing the third most minutes on tampa... some people only see value in points
  19. it was a risk... they obviously trusted mr cole Clark when they made that contract... 5x5 was not a common signing point
