  1. I think you are right, flying under the radar can only be a good thing. Toffoli is traded alot for a guy that plays so well, offensively he consistently is top 40 or 50 in the league... Jim Benning did his best

  3. eh those terrible beer league guys from tsn. at least we made the video. if you want we should troll these schmucks... like my comment or do your best trolls i know alot of you are better than me at it. they named the 5 best lines in hockey... from 5>4>3>2>1 Jesse PITT, Tor, Nj, Det, Edm Corwin Bos, Dal, Tor, NJ, Edm Luca Det, Pit, NJ, Col, Edm here is a review of each line and there 5v5 P/60 (#) and the total lines EV points and +/- Edm mcbaby (2.68) crysaital (3.23) Foegle (2.55) 5th Points/60 15 points +/- 0 Nj Hughes (2.38) Toffoli (3.00) Bratt (1.19) 8th Points/60 12 points + 1 Col Rantanen (3.57) McKinnon (2.34) Lehkonen (1.23) 9th Points/60 14 points + 1 Tor Matthews (1.83) Marner (1.40) Bertuzzi (0.47) 10th Points/60 8 points + 4 Tor Nylander (2.43) Tavares (2.44) Bertuzzi (0.47) 11th Points/60 11 points + 8 Pit Rust (2.65) Crosby (3.21) Guentzel (2.61) 4th Points/60 19 points - 3 Det DeBrincat (3.54) Larkin (2.24) Raymond (2.68) 2nd Points/60 19 points +14 Dal Robertson (3.07) Hintz (4.09) Pavelski (1.99) 1st Points/60 13 points + 2 Bos Pastranak (3.03) Zacha (2.28) Marchand (2.39) 7th Points/60 14 points +19 trololol , I know they were going to homer.... but for realsies? they dont even consider that most of these players are getting their points on the powerplay. and there is better lines too... Boeser (3.41) Miller (2.99) PDG (2.01) 3rd Points/60 17 points +22 Kuzmenko (2.44) Petterson (2.69) Mikheyev (2.88) 6th Points/60 12 points +11
  4. I just realized i may be way off with my Hughes predictions... hronek is amazing, best defenceman hughes has ever played with, and Hughes shot is actually a threat now... he may figure it out this season... even if his shooting percentage starts dropping (i dont think it will drop below 8%, 9.1% now) i think if he's healthy he gets 95+ points and will be somewhere in the top 3 for norris voting (1-3). However, teams will adjust to his new strengths and he may struggle for a little while before he may explode again around game 25-30... Hronek may explode too, picking up some goals soon, his shot is amazing too! i think when hughes starts facing more pressure, hughes figures a way to get hronek the puck and he will get his chance for 5-10 games before teams realize they cant lean against hughes too much or he will make you pay... if this happens we are going to be winning alot of games. We are winning this year is because how much better the team defence is. all our pairings will have an identity... Cole defense first. hronek and hughes does it all, myers and soucy are intimidating, teams 3rd line scorers (usually undersized) are going to not like going to the corners when they are on the ice. I dont think this is a fluke, I think Coach Boudreau was key to this blossoming of our stars, he let them be creative and they figured it out. well... at least how to score... and i want to say that Tocchet is a genius, I guarantee he was already working on his own developing tapes on how to get Miller and Petey to be more defensive aware, i think he calmed them down and said Defence is easy, you two are smarter than your opponents and need to be pouncing at the right moment when the PP is at its weakest. He gave them confidence, and likely a assurance that if they play defence first but smart they will get more offenisive chances. Now this season, that mentality is carrying across other areas of the ice, and those two are becoming legit two way forwards. Petterson will win the selke this year, if not ill eat my shorts.
  5. has the hockey guy, admitted he was wrong yet? he made two videos trashing the nucks, the second one ten minutes on why they were bad?
  6. there has been a few people that ran from russia and the KHL, but it was like half a dozen. money talks and the KHL pays well, its why you see so many players from russia return back home... a player like Trymakin who might have been a top 4or 5th defenceman in the NHL is like a top player in the KHL and the KHL pays big to entice them to come home. the average salary in the KHL is 425K US but the top players are in the millions. Top 10 Best Ice Hockey Leagues (thehockeywriters.com) this article has AHL ranked 8th in the world...it makes sense that the big hockey markets top league is ranked higher, they all pay better than the AHL, and the ahl isn't allowed underagers and many top ranked prospects might not play more than a handful of games in the AHL, choosing the NCAA and a education over a slightly better league or jumping straight to the NHL. while this conversion tool doesn't tell half the story, using it and checking past season stats gives you a little idea... 7. not sure... he was listed as C/W in his draft report...
  8. just because you dont like their politics, they are still likely ranked second, then the SHL then the AHL
  9. very unlikely center to wing sure... but not wing to center very often ever
  10. refs just like police get drunk with power... corruption is not a river named denyle
  11. the hughes brothers have a chance of breaking wayne and brett gretzkys record... i think if they stay healthy they can likely get 200- 250 points a season for the better part of the next decade...
  12. Good Luck with the move, don't get lazy or work tirelessly or things will break...
  13. you are probably right about being worried, but i dont think you need to worry too much... 7 games is not quite 10% of the season... Suter should be on pace for 2.5 points but he has zero, i imagine having a linemate that has requested a trade and being on a new team isnt helping him... lets come back after game 14 and see if he has 3 points, if he has less its more likely a sign thats somethings wrong... maybe when blueger returns suter is shifted to the wing or demoted to the 4th line or has minutes decreased... our bottom six is going to need a lot of finessing to find the right chemisty because it has a hodge podge of under performing, under sized top six forwards... i think it will all be figured out by game 14.
  14. its kinda cold right now where i am... can i just go commando?
  15. the whole team is buying in, i think the whole team trusts the management and the management trusts the team... trading dickinson away for a second looks kinda genius when you got sutter and blueger to replace his cap hit... still got room to improve. here hope Myers can regain some confidence after tonights game, and go full GigaGiraffe mode
  16. still too early to look at PP and PK stats and corelate any trends but we are definitely off to a good start... hopefully the team continues to grow and we keep rising up the ranks and the standings too...
  17. i was looking through the records earlier this week.... it was a lonng..... long time ago
  18. i got carried away, its pretty much written... even made a few custom memes...
