Sorry but just because he had a good playoff run last year doesn't put him in the $8M territory. He is more a $6M max player. He scored 28 goals first time hitting over 20goal and he is a $8M player. Seems like we got a steal on Hoggy's deal for $3M netting 24 goals.

Based on the exhibition games I see Sherwood and Sprong making the most impact so far. But I sure like Sherwood a lot. He's a work horse willing to hit and stir the pot and he can also makes some good plays as well. I think it would be cool to see him play with EP40 as he can create some room for him.

Anyone noticed 6ft 6 Vilmer Alriksson who threw a big hit and a fight last night? I like this kid with good upsize and willing to hit and he has some nice moves as well.

Good pick up as we need more of this type of player on our roster. He pretty much hits everything in sight. Sitting at 6ft2inches is a very good size as well. He is averaging around 5hits per game in his career!! Imagine if we have him on the same line with Sherwood.....it would be fun to watch...rock em sock em hockey night in Canada!!!
