      All time? Spielberg and Hitchcock come first to mind. Jaws, Poltergeist, Rear Window, Psycho.

       

      But of course also The Excorcist. Night Of The Living Dead.

       

      As for newer stuff, Paranormal Activity was really cool. And not sure if it counts as a horror, but Cabin In The Woods kinda blew my mind when it came out.
