    Agreed. I dont think buying high is worth it unless the player(s) have term. Going to be interesting to see how PA threads it. You know other teams are going to jeep the price given where the Canucks are in the standings. Hopefully they can find an impact player that doesnt have the most sexy name.

    too bad for Soucy. was just hitting his stride again. happy to see Juulsen back in. Myers w Hughes might actually work now that the team play/ systems is gelling. Always felt like Hronek didnt get to do his thing as much w Hughes. Can still goto back to that during crucial moments tho

    i dont think you can blame Myers on that Nylander goal. There wasnt much of a play there other than a perfectly placed shot / Demko lost track of the puck for a split second.

    I dont think the Nucks need to go big game hunting (UFA rentals). The line up that has gotten the Canucks this far just needs a bit of tweaking. I really think a guy like Brandon Tanev would help on Suter’s wing. Besides, you never know what the chemistry is going to be like. Going after a younger player like Hronek tho would be great to see tho.

    and given that I doubt he would let any high end prospect go unless it’s a massive and not short term upgrade for this line up.

    Go back and listen to his takes during the summer / before the season started. For a guy that loves the word “materially” he knows you cant deny the results.
