  1. Dont think we can afford to trade hoglander hes probably the most likely player we have to give us returns far above his contract value on his next deal im confident he pots 20 goals this year, hes not going back to abby
  2. Ian Cole looking like a bonafide top-4 guy as well these acquisitions are simply exemplary
  3. They have to be shidding their pants, once again their goaltending is simply abysmal and will take them nowhere that and their blue line has one nhl caliber defender (ekholm)
  4. The hairless compadres are gonna make a move, this game was a pretty clear indicator that Juulsen is not an acceptable regular on our blue line
  5. "the canucks were up 8-1 and didnt even have the decency to pull their goalie to let me pot a couple empty netters.. dont they know i need to score 80 goals this year? Very selfish team."
  6. Israel’s deal with Egypt says that Israel keeps a registry of who crosses the Egypt border, and Israel does not allow goods to move through Rafah. Israel wants to ensure all goods go through Israel’s crossings.
  7. Forgiveness can only begin when oppression ends I wouldn't expect the indigenous peoples of canada to even begin to consider forgiveness until ongoing injustices stopped, and we begun truth and reconciliation I wouldnt have expected south africa to learn forgiveness until apartheid ended. i expect no different from palestine/israel at this moment, war crimes are being committed against 2 million people. condemnation and swift sanctions are the moral course of action, nothing less.
  8. If Hughes-Hronek can do what they did in that game, it would be a crime to ever split them 5v5 Cole-Myers looked like a top-4 pairing too, no issues with them together, especially if Myers re-signs at 2.5 or thereabouts Soucy-Bear sounds pretty good too then I’d go spend some $ to get a #7 that also belongs in the nhl and we’re pretty well set until some of the bajillion d-men we drafted this year can join the team
  9. Drance is also bald make of that what you will.
  10. You obviously haven’t heard about the hourly cap
  11. sorry if i misunderstood to you, i didnt see anything where you said vancouver, it looked to me like you were talking all pro israel rallies, and this kind of rhetoric has been present in pro israel rallies every time theres been major fighting, including in 2014 https://www.newsweek.com/pro-israel-protesters-nyc-demand-gaza-flattened-1833787 ^ this is the type of thing im talking about
  12. This is disingenuous at best, theres people in this forum who called for wiping out gaza and its 2 million people and pro israeli rallies like this "Death to Arabs" "the 2nd nakba is coming, youll all be refugees soon" etc etc
  13. Tbh I think the reality is a lot more complex than that If I had to guess, it’s more about keeping Chechnya happy and on side with Russia, which has been achieved. One of the biggest threats to Russia would come from Kadyrov and Chechnya creating domestic problems. as a foreign power, Theres nothing really to gain in the Arab world by advocating for Palestinian rights. Saudi Arabia and the Arab world have already made it clear they’ll do business with you even if you’re extreme pro Israel (e.g. the USA). Advocating for Palestinians only costs you opportunities in political relationships with Israel (which are extremely lucrative, as China has discovered). I caution anyone who dismisses it as it’s as simple as “Putin is doing this to stir the pot” also not talking about you, but more generally because I see this a lot- I think it’s probably incorrect to label the west as good and the east (China and Russia, Iran etc ) as bad any serious study of the past 100 years into the specific actions taken by countries, how geopolitical situations have evolved would find just about every country acting in its own interest, often to the detriment of others. The west probably being more guilty of this than the east, on balance, by most metrics (civilians killed, human rights abuses, etc)
  14. just to throw a wrench into the mix here Since the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia has been one of the few countries that’s vocally and aggressively advocated for Palestinian statehood and rights. Russia was at times the only world power trying to stop Israel’s settlement building and used its influence in the UN to get a general assembly resolution to include Palestine in the UN. The US and Israel opposed of course.
