I would be very interested in this, also when Milkehev and Bluegger come back... is there room of Hoglander in the bottom 6?

Yes to Matt Roy or Jordan Spence but there is. big cap difference in these guys

LA has no cap space though? maybe with Arvidsson they have the cap now???

    To VAN

    LA 2nd round pick 2024

    LA 3rd round pick 2025

    Matt Roy

    To LA

    Hoglander

    Garland

    Woo

    absolutely

Dont think we can afford to trade hoglander

hes probably the most likely player we have to give us returns far above his contract value on his next deal

im confident he pots 20 goals this year, hes not going back to abby

Why do the tunnels exist in the first place? Why would Egypt/Gaza not have a good enough border crossing so people and goods can move freely back and forth?

Israel’s deal with Egypt says that Israel keeps a registry of who crosses the Egypt border, and Israel does not allow goods to move through Rafah. Israel wants to ensure all goods go through Israel’s crossings.

I agree with Hussain. Isn’t that what our God teaches us?  Forgiveness is the key to everything my brother.

So how do the Palestinians and the Israelis learn how to forgive?

Forgiveness can only begin when oppression ends

I wouldn't expect the indigenous peoples of canada to even begin to consider forgiveness until ongoing injustices stopped, and we begun truth and reconciliation

I wouldnt have expected south africa to learn forgiveness until apartheid ended.

i expect no different from palestine/israel

at this moment, war crimes are being committed against 2 million people. condemnation and swift sanctions are the moral course of action, nothing less.

It would be. I have beem advocating for awhile now. Next years first should be in play for the right dman. Pesce would be perfect. Our time os now, the first doesn't matter now, or probably 3 to 4 years from now.

If Hughes-Hronek can do what they did in that game, it would be a crime to ever split them 5v5

Cole-Myers looked like a top-4 pairing too, no issues with them together, especially if Myers re-signs at 2.5 or thereabouts

    Soucy-Bear sounds pretty good too

then I’d go spend some $ to get a #7 that also belongs in the nhl and we’re pretty well set until some of the bajillion d-men we drafted this year can join the team

Drance is to be ignored at all times. I turn away absolutely every time I see or hear him and I ill not read his garb. Unbelievable this dunce has any airplay or any audience.

    Drance is also bald

make of that what you will.

So, you are showing me a demonstration in Israel in response to my post about me not hearing any of this on any of the pro-Israel demonstrations in Vancouver? Very logical…

sorry if i misunderstood to you, i didnt see anything where you said vancouver, it looked to me like you were talking all pro israel rallies, and this kind of rhetoric has been present in pro israel rallies every time theres been major fighting, including in 2014

^ this is the type of thing im talking about

Oh, it’s very serious. Many Jewish parents in Canada not sending their kids to schools tomorrow because of that.

This is a lie. I’ve been to plenty of rallies in support of Israel over the years. Not once have i heard anything even remotely resembling “death to Palestine”. Not once.

This is disingenuous at best, theres people in this forum who called for wiping out gaza and its 2 million people

and pro israeli rallies like this "Death to Arabs" "the 2nd nakba is coming, youll all be refugees soon" etc etc

Russia only advocates for things they get a cut on, have a vested interest.  I state this even though a Palestinian state should & needs to be a goal.  What Putin wants is control over the region.  Its why he backs Asaad next door.

They claim the Wagner backed coup against Mali's just elected govt was akin to freedom for its people.

Tbh I think the reality is a lot more complex than that

If I had to guess, it’s more about keeping Chechnya happy and on side with Russia, which has been achieved. One of the biggest threats to Russia would come from Kadyrov and Chechnya creating domestic problems.

as a foreign power, Theres nothing really to gain in the Arab world by advocating for Palestinian rights. Saudi Arabia and the Arab world have already made it clear they’ll do business with you even if you’re extreme pro Israel (e.g. the USA). Advocating for Palestinians only costs you opportunities in political relationships with Israel (which are extremely lucrative, as China has discovered).

I caution anyone who dismisses it as  it’s as simple as “Putin is doing this to stir the pot”

also not talking about you, but more generally because I see this a lot- I think it’s probably incorrect to label the west as good and the east (China and Russia, Iran etc ) as bad

any serious study of the past 100 years into the specific actions taken by countries, how geopolitical situations have evolved would find just about every country acting in its own interest, often to the detriment of others. The west probably being more guilty of this than the east, on balance, by most metrics (civilians killed, human rights abuses, etc)

Of course the Palestinian/Israeli conflict precedes Putin. I agree.

I could see, however, Putin meddling to deplete ammo away from Ukraine by having the West supply Israel against Hamas.

Things and people that Putin doesn’t give two shits about. The fruits of it though, could be beneficial. It’s actually a decent chess move, in the most horrendous way for the people suffering and dying…again, which Putin wouldn’t care about in the least.

    Let’s not derail then.

    Cheers.

just to throw a wrench into the mix here

Since the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia has been one of the few countries that’s vocally and aggressively advocated for Palestinian statehood and rights.

Russia was at times the only world power trying to stop Israel’s settlement building and used its influence in the UN to get a general assembly resolution to include Palestine in the UN. The US and Israel opposed of course.
