It's been said many times before, but this time, with the newly adjusted coaching staff, player movement and acquisitions, Hughes being the new captain, even this new forum...something special is brewing. Would be kind of funny if the Canucks went on a deep run, and maybe even drank from the Cup, the year CDC closed. Looking for a weak spot on the Canucks, I can't really pick one out like I used to: Great goaltending in Demko. High octane offense in Petey, Kuzmenko, Miller and Boeser. Big redemption year for Brock. Steady, gritty bottom 6 that includes Podkolzin, Suter, Blueger and Joshua. Offensive D in Hughes, Hronek and Myers. Yes, that Myers. I think he has a bounce-back season and provides more offense paired with Irwin. My guess. Definitely sounds like CDC was shutdown cause they couldn't censor out the negativity. Glad they linked this site too. Here's hoping we keep growing this forum to rival what CDC was. We're not "negative" cause we hate the team, we are "negative" cause we love the team that much we hope/expect more, quotations on negative cause I think it has a bad rep for being considered hating when it's not. Pumping daisies up ownership and management's ass is near worthless. Especially when we made the playoffs twice in like 10 years, once we wouldn't have even made it if the season played out normally. CDC is/was a discussion board. Not a "We only spread love and sunshine about the Canucks" board. Whatever, they wanna be babies about the discussions we were having. Fine. Kill CDC.
