This also is close to home for me too. Crazy stuff indeed!

Only thing I'm waiting on is that there was a claim of explosives in the vehicle.  If true, these were seriously incompetent terrorists.  If false, chalk up another eff up for the mainstream media, especially Fox.

I've just heard that the car was at a casino. Could have just lost a lot and thought fuck life I'm going out with a bang. But anything is possible at this point

It is curious that only Fox is talking terrorism while all other sites are just saying no one knows yet.   Of course, for most sites it's an important story that took place at the border and for Fox it took place at THE BORDER!!!!

CBS had it chalked up to terrorism also.  They buried it in the article rather than the headline just in case they had to backpedal.  Fox always goes for the emotion based clicks.

Fox news is not news.  It's entertainment.

Leave it up to FBI official investigation to complete.

Sad story in any case, whether it's terrorism, suicide, or freak accident.  Thanksgiving tomorrow.  Millions are going home to gather.

I wish most viewers of Fox saw it as entertainment instead of news. 😞

The knee-jerk reaction by the media got it wrong, again. All over the place it started out as terrorism, then a car bomb and in the end it was a dumb ass going way too fast.

Why can't they research then report? Everyone tries to get something out first for the masses to gobble. It sends fear through many people who cannot handle any more fear.

If we're going to be wandering into the realm of speculation and unverified reporting, I'll throw out this possibility - maybe the guy decided to take his loan shark out for a ride... permanently.  :classic_ninja:

Theres an easy fix for that, just don't react right away when you consume news.

That makes me wonder what they had against the Rainbow Bridge if they were just trying to end themselves.  This story is all over the place.

Obviously the bridge was "woke" with a name like that....

....probably identifies as a viaduct....:classic_dry:

They can’t research something that’s happening instantly.

However, media CAN not draw conclusions and refrain from narratives.

But, it’s not news anymore is it? It’s info-taiment, so you buy more pillows and pee-pee pills and get a reverse mortgage.

Get all 3 at a packaged discount!

Exclusively and only on the promo code CNN, CBC, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, and CSPAN(because fuck it, they’re probably in on it too! Amirite?)

as fun as that show could be those jerks ruined ". It is believed, according to Road & Track, that more than 300 1969 Dodge Chargers were totaled during the run of the show, many because of bent frames from jumping."

The very first one (called Lee 1) still exists.  It was restored and then eventually bought by a Nascar Driver who subsequently painted over the confederate flag when leftists gave him sh*t about it being on there...

I get where you are coming from, I love classic cars to.

However jumping a car is so much fun, we used to do it a lot when we were younger.

Started out with Paddock bombs and did it with a few of our road registered cars as well.

What did you use to weigh the back end down?  Sand bags or did you go Hollywood ghetto and dump concrete in the trunk like some of the stunt coordinators on that show did with the Chargers?

For starters, we didn't we put anything in the boot, we were young and didn't give a fuck, smaller jumps.

Then as we got older we learnt from jumping our motor bikes the shape of the jump and landing was the most important thing, we were/ are farmers with tractor with blades to shape our jumps, then fine tune them by hand.

When the jumps got bigger, we did throw some bags of cement in the boot.

When I think back I am amazed that only a few of us died doing the crazy shit we did in car's, off our faces on drugs and alcohol.
