You can't hide hockey for long and eventually it just has to be introduced. Better to get it out of the way...I mean, what if she's a Leafs fan? You can save some money and take her to Tim Hortons then give her bus fare to get home.

I called my mum and said " that girl I like, has asked me out for beers and to watch Canucks hockey. I think I have found the one"

 

That was 26 years ago. That girl is about to watch the game with me tonight, as we always do.

I personally would choose prime Crosby. 

 

He's a well-rounded player, who's proven to have the ability to lead teams to championships. 

 

Matthews isn't even in the equation.

Matthews is awesome but not so sure he raises the bar (of teammates’ commitment to playing the right way) like Crosby does. 
For me I’ll take the guy who leads his club to multiple Cups. Even if the other guy is a 230

pound, 50 goal scoring, centre.

Also, on a back to back and you have a fresh TOP LINE player, you play him the next day. Jaysus christ. Coaches picking beefs with certain players is petty af. Tocc almost drove Hoglander onto the trade block ffs
