Wrong. The composition of the team at forward needs some fixin. Tocchet is one of the main reasons they’re where they are in the standings.

Vegas doesn't have great players their top D-man is out and they are running away with this.

What Vegas has is a top defensive team structure

They're not surprising teams anymore, teams are ready for them now

Lol maybe you are right. They might be a wild card calibre team that was overachieving earlier in the year.

With the addition of Zadorov, what are we missing?

I would say our 3rd and 4th line had outplayed the opposition.

Our D with the addition of Zadorov looks pretty good. 1 good top 4 D from being cup calibre.

What's wrong with our top 6?

Are Miller and Petey not a good enough 1-2 punch?

Is Boeser and Kuz not good enough?

I feel like we have enough pieces to be playing better than this?

And a well distributed cap structure.  They're not overly top heavy

Team is very talented but still learning to play winning hockey. They just aren't there.

If they knew how they'd be a top team but in these key moments the inexperience shines through unfortunately. (Not just tonight but against Colorado too)

This is the 5th season with Miller, Hughes, and Pettersson.

If they haven't figured out how to play winning hockey by now, then something is wrong with the core.

@JayDanglesremember all those posters running down those of us who were saying the team is coming back down to where they really are?

I mean, I hate to be right about being negative. But.. I do like being right.

I want these guy to turn it around but they just aren't showing us anything lately!

I think we all know where this teams deficiencies are. Another big top forward and another dman who can be on the second pairing and take pressure off of Hughes.

So. Do I believe? Hmmmmmmm. No, not yet I don't. Every 'real' game has been a fail. Obviously they're so much better. But, yeah... if I had to be honest, I've put money against them on every 'meaningful' game over the past 10 years and lemme tell ya. I'm ahead. Makes me sad. But I've had nice dinners at their expense lol.

As the coach said, this one game doesn't prove anything either way.

100% but its also a good wakeup call to remind them, yes you're a few points away from #1 in the NHL but you're not "ready" to be number one in the NHL if you compete like this against the best.

They are at home, big game, big test, you can't not show up. This game is more a reminder of the Bruce years.

Vegas is a very frustrating team to play against as they do not give you time or space with their aggressive fore checking.  Canucks better figure out a way to counter their game plan and expose their weaknesses before playoffs start.  I would argue using more speed and peppering their goalie more.

This team loses its mojo so easily I don’t get it.

Battling for 1st in the division and they look like a team that has lost 8 straight…

Why is Petey terrified to shoot the puck?!?

Pete hasn’t been shooting for a while and when he does it’s not the a shot.

sure seems like he’s  playing hurt .

shoulder wrist something
