What a joke. singh and Debrusk have stopped calling the game with 12 minutes left.

Two of them babbling away about anything but the play on ice, voices subdued.

It’s about as amateur as you could get.

And not one mention on the phantom penalty shot call. C'mon, that wasn't even a penalty!

So, at the end of the day, Canucks got a point, Coilers lost two.

Looks like they they are back to reality

and reality looks ugly for them.

I think Coilers might sneak into wild card spot, but it is so one dimension team, it is not even funny .

Whatever momentum they built during their win streak was lost in the last 2 games. They're going nowhere.

They have a road trip through metro New York next and all 3 of NYR, NYI and NJD are playing well lately and riding some momentum. Hope they come home with 3 Ls and put them 5 games below 0.500 heading into break.

I see Edmonton as similar to Vancouver two seasons ago when we brought in Bruce. Both teams had a new coach and big winning streak rallies to get back to .500, but the big winning streak still only got the team to .500. Going forward they have to play every game like it's a playoff games, which as we saw with the Canucks became incredibly taxing both mentally and physically. They could still make the playoffs, but even if they do the effort to get themselves in likely leads to them being a easy opponent.

Nice to see St Louis fans cheer on Kyrou last night. This is the way society should work. Say how you feel, deal with the postive or negative reactions, forgive a transgression if the appropriate actions are taken. The fans booed what they thought were inappropriate comments, but then forgive the young man after his heart felt explanation. Everyone moves on and learns from the experience.

They've had a few easy matchups lately too. Eg the NJ, that team was tired on a back to back and the refs were allowing a lot of physical stuff NJ is just too small to handle.

Pittsburgh is in trouble if Toronto spanks them 7-0. Was Karlsson a -7?

Karlsson was actually only a -1.

Letang might be the issue; team-worst -4, despite getting a misconduct (12 PIMs in total, so 1/5 of the game).
