Core needs to be better and also obviously needs more help which they should get eventually. The next offseason will be huge yet again. Only one of them was offensively minded in Boudreau, yet we've continued to have poor defensive performances. Personnel and team composition are a bigger issue IMO. Tonight that 3rd line generated more good chances than the top lines did. I mentioned that in the first period intermission. We were getting outworked and there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to come out and match that intensity. They keep talking about being "professional"... so? Look, there's a lot of good things happening now, but - these guys need to learn how to play hard consistently. Obviously, there will be lapses, like Vegas, until they played us, but you've got bring it 90% of the time.
