Both his parents (my grand parents) lived into their 90s and were quite healthy up to their late 80s, so I thought we'd have more time. He and and my aunt (his wife) never had children, so they were a second set of parents to me growing up and we've always been close. Unfortunately I lived in Edmonton for the last 4 years (back in BC now though), so I missed a lot of time with him. I'm feeling guilty about being away now that his 'good' years are running short, so I'm trying to make the most of it now. Now, I just bought a 3.75 KG beef brisket from sobeys for $45 and got $20 worth of Scene points on that purchase.. making chili with chunks of beef and have 5 other meals cut up out of it.
