  1. 1. Well now, what aging Superstar will the Canucks trade for (brackets are my opinion, add yours in the comments on what the package will be)

    • Ovenchiken, Washington ain't getting another cup the rest of this decade so might as well package up (Kuz / Garland / picks for Ovi - retention in play)
      5
    • Crosby! Flightless birds want to give Sid-da-Kid another cup so (Kuz you are up with Myers to drive you both to the airport)
      4
    • Tarasenko, Petey needs a bull in the china shop player and 'senko has at least 1 good year left in him to push us over the top
      6
    • PA ain't trading anyone off the team, Phil the Thrill for a Mil is available - low risk is what JR thrives on
      22
    • Joe Pavelski - 'nuf said

    • ummm, dear author, perhaps you should get checked for CTE ... none of the above are remotely possible. But since you asked see my comments below for a likely trade for an unlikely player to be moved.

Intermission time. Damn, need to make a lunch for my daughter for tomorrow now. I've been dreading this moment since I finally got to sit down.

First world problems!!!

I did that for my girls at 6:45 lol

Boeser just needed to quicken up his shot. He's now even releasing one-timers (something he didn't even do early on in his career much, likely I'm guessing due to the flex on his stick) and seeing success. He's not trying to control everything and pick corners. Just letting it go and that's exactly what he's needed to do the whole time.

Really nice to see him return to what we all knew he could be.

I'm exhausted tonight....mostly watching the game in a horizontal position. I'm the Head of School's assistant and he was busy (again) today so I had the 3 kids sent to his office for the day in my care. They were wound up (sugarfied from class parties) and just wild.

It's hard work this adulting stuff. I need a Red Bull.

That's getting ready for bed time for us! How do you do it?!

Hahaha I do dinner at 4:30.  Finish eating by 5:30.  Clean up kitchen by 6:00.  Get girls in PJs and brushed teeth by 6:30.  Send them into the playroom until bed time at 7pm.  My chance to do lunches then lol

The kid no longer has anything to worry about, he can relax and play the sport he loves to play. I can only imagine how badly he was struggling mentally the last few years.

Good on him, he's winning the rocket this year.
