  1. 1. Well now, what aging Superstar will the Canucks trade for (brackets are my opinion, add yours in the comments on what the package will be)

    • Ovenchiken, Washington ain't getting another cup the rest of this decade so might as well package up (Kuz / Garland / picks for Ovi - retention in play)

In the past few years, this team has sucked in this area.  Been having to chase games, or had games they led waste away.

 

It's all about battle and attention to detail.  They went a month playing with very little of either.  They're starting to battle every shift again.

I just like the fact this team is closing.  Lead going into the 3rd, win.  Good teams do that.

Nice solid night of work! Only one that got past him was all thanks to Big Z letting his man skate free to the open post.


Embarrassed to admit part of me wanted to upvote an earlier poster who suggested pre-game that we start DeSmith due to Snatcher's poor record vs Tampa.

 

That said, I did predict a 4-0 Canuck win in the PTSC thread so my faith was holding strong on some level lol
