I enjoyed Luongo's time here but I wished this is where he shined as a Canuck.

It all good to say that, but if you notice only 1 of the 3 games we won, wasn't a shut out...

That suggests to me at least that there were also other issues than Bobby Lu's goals against... The team didn't score enough. Its as simple as that... regardless of issues and reasons Canucks did not score enough goals...

Thomas played better than Luongo... But forwards goals dried out... Plenty of opportunities to score, but they didn't.

I agree , all of our stars didn't shine and I think the PP went like 3/34 or something like that in the series after basically scoring at will before that. We had opportunities, we just didn't capitalize on them.

You could say the same about Kesler and Burrows

Of course. However, Luongo made this team a playoff team with his talent in net, which is vital for a team to go far. As soon as he was traded here, his impact to the team was immeasurable. I'd even go as far as doing a joint jersey retirement with Luongo and McLean.

Ah, but don't forget the little Mrs. who I believe was a driving force for the "I hate my contract"  unfortunate utterance.

Meh. Water under the bridge. If Luongo hadn't have been traded here, I have a hard time seeing the Canucks rising to prominence as they did during that time in the 2000-2010's
