Canucks have 8 UFAs and 2 RFA's (notable) and Which Team is Better

  1. 1. Who won't be with the Canucks next year even if they win the Stanley Cup this year (multiple selections allowed). Comments are just my thoughts, pick player and add your own in comments below.

    • Sam Lafferty - yes great add, but that is the rub, will cost too much to resign plus Podz could fill his role and earn a nice contract the following year

    • Ian Cole - solid pickup, but too old now which is why was signed for only 1 year, that and McWard or Pettersson could possbily step up.

    • Mark Friedman - another solid pickup but young-uns in Abby can fill his spot

    • Tylers Myers - unless he signs for $1.5M or less. Myer's cap hit will be used to give Big Zeke, Honker and perhaps Petey raises

    • Elias Pettersson - he will want north of $11M per year and Canucks will get a bushel full of picks / prospects / players for him instead as that is too rich for Canucks now

Yeah and you change your tune likely more than your underwear. Honestly, go with the flow a bit more? 

 

Teams win AND lose. They have great games and some not so great. All teams, not just this team.

 

Can you explain why you want Tocchet fired? With the record and where we are in the standings, it really doesn't make sense. Plus, a pretty small sample size too. Be careful what you wish for.

This is as good of a coaching staff as we’ve ever had. Sometimes I get frustrated with the play of the team, but I’m not going to lay it at the feet of the coaching staff. I blame the players when that happens, but more often than not, the team has played well and the record shows it.

After reviewing all the evidence and given the record like you say. What else could his motive be other  than stearing up the more knowledgeable posters. It’s either that or he or she is really really stupid.

Back to back games before 12noon our time - not sure what the league is thinking in terms of scheduling - don't recall seeing an Eastern team starting a game at 9am our time - at least not for while.or maybe during the Bruins days in the 1980s,

 

Expect Bedard will be pumped up for this one (along with the crowd) but also think Petey / Hughes may be due for one of those explosive games. I am glad they did not lose the MN game in regulation today + gained a point so hopefully, the team plays with a bit of confidence tomorrow - just do the stuff they have been doing all week. 

 

RT should make sure they do not underestimate them just because the Hawks had a bad game last time - they will be fine.   Doesn't need to be pretty - just focus + win.

Exercise your super power.I would.People put huge effort for us to have place to chat and spent time in fun.Guys who dont respect that and come to troll,should be gone.
