  1. 1. Who won't be with the Canucks next year even if they win the Stanley Cup this year (multiple selections allowed). Comments are just my thoughts, pick player and add your own in comments below.

    • Sam Lafferty - yes great add, but that is the rub, will cost too much to resign plus Podz could fill his role and earn a nice contract the following year
      6
    • Ian Cole - solid pickup, but too old now which is why was signed for only 1 year, that and McWard or Pettersson could possbily step up.
      19
    • Mark Friedman - another solid pickup but young-uns in Abby can fill his spot
      29
    • Tylers Myers - unless he signs for $1.5M or less. Myer's cap hit will be used to give Big Zeke, Honker and perhaps Petey raises
      44
    • Elias Pettersson - he will want north of $11M per year and Canucks will get a bushel full of picks / prospects / players for him instead as that is too rich for Canucks now

    • ... stop it with the Smoked Whiskey dear author, Petey stays ... see my comments below for my thoughts.

  2. 2. Is This Year's Team Better than the 2011 Team that went to the SCF BABY!!

    • Fuck Ya and suck it CanuckFanF ... ahh, ahem
      9
    • No, the 2011 team was deeper, faster and gosh darn it, everyone loved that team - even the TO Fans
      18
    • Ask me at the 60 game mark, if team maintains this torrid pace then yes
      14
    • No, we are a Kesler and a Bieksa away from truly entering into that level of stratosphere
      17
    • Yes, but only if we jettison Myers, use the cap space to get a Selke caliber forward and one of the young guns in Abby steps up as the next Bobby (well better than Myers at least)
      5
    • ... come on, are you serious ... see my comment below

That's never going to happen, ever

Don't speak for me.

Yes, every troll is a great fan because they throw in stuff to appear so, every ref's a great ref and Miller WILL be gone this year.

Got it.

Let's try to focus on the game day stuff....

Well this thread has become an amusing little debate over the definition of trolling. I must admit I have found it fun but maybe we can get back to hockey?

can we assume Demko starts? Any word on that?
Hogs taken off JT line, why? Everyone had a bad game. I thought he was good against Florida.

i know there is no easy wins, but based on skill level alone, this team firing at even 60% should beat the bhs. So no excuses.

It really pains me that Bedard is there....he's too good (in every respect) for that organization.

Can we pretend Chicago is a farm team getting Bedard ready to sign with the Canucks as soon as he is able to hit free agency?

Leon Draisitle has one even strength point in the last 8 games.

Isn't it glorious?

I watched the Oilers game last night....not sure if they're really bad, just bad or good? They're all over the map and they seem to disintegrate a bit when frustrated.

So far Bedard has zero sentimental reasons to stay there and an increasing amount of reasons to leave. But we would probably still have to trade for his rights after 7 years.

I don't think so.  Obviously he's a little more on the extreme side about things, but he also makes some good points too.

NO. Once someone has posted something over the the top stupid everything else becomes questionable. Kind of like that poster that said , only last year on CDC that this rebuild retool was going to take 8 years. At least. :picard:

Any path that leads Bedard to Vancouver will have my support.

Hockey Scandal Erupts in Chicago (again)

CONNOR BEDARD DEMANDS TRADE FROM CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS SEXUAL PREDATORS ORGANIZATION

emi POST VIA cff REAL FAKE NEWS you can Relay On.. To Others

BC-Born Hockey Phenom Connor Bedard dressed in Canucks Colours for today's game and refused to change in the Blackhawks 'Room' nor sit on their bench.  The brave lad came out for the pregame skate and warmed up with The Greatest Hockey Team Ever to Grace the Planet Earth, the Vancouver Canucks, Actual Real Good Guys who don't want to show you their underwear or to see yours.

(Recent Mars visits have discovered age-old ice under the red dust; further discoveries now include red and blue lines in the ice and the frozen face of a Ron MacLean Look-A-Like Sex Doll looking up from underneath what appears to be a Center Ice Faceoff Circle.  This gruesome discovery led to considerable concern that The Old Crotch-Watcher was still alive after a severe and fatal beating he received trying to get 'funny' with Kevin Bieksa on CBC's Hockey Drivel Night in Canada.)

The Boy Wonder flipped off the Chicago coaching and management personnel and proceeded to make hilarious but politically-incorrect gestures reminiscent of Hockey Canada's Hotel Raping Parties for Minors and other Monkey Business:

The NHL and the NHL PA have arrived at the Arena and are pretending this is the first they have heard of all this.

"Everything's OK here; nobody look; Connor has always been with Vancouver - just look at his bedroom!"

(Wait, we're not supposed to let them know we have cameras in all the Chicago players' bedrooms.)

Etc.

GO CANUCKS GO

C'MON HOME CB
