  1. 1. Who won't be with the Canucks next year even if they win the Stanley Cup this year (multiple selections allowed). Comments are just my thoughts, pick player and add your own in comments below.

    • Sam Lafferty - yes great add, but that is the rub, will cost too much to resign plus Podz could fill his role and earn a nice contract the following year
      6
    • Ian Cole - solid pickup, but too old now which is why was signed for only 1 year, that and McWard or Pettersson could possbily step up.
      19
    • Mark Friedman - another solid pickup but young-uns in Abby can fill his spot
      29
    • Tylers Myers - unless he signs for $1.5M or less. Myer's cap hit will be used to give Big Zeke, Honker and perhaps Petey raises
      44
    • Elias Pettersson - he will want north of $11M per year and Canucks will get a bushel full of picks / prospects / players for him instead as that is too rich for Canucks now

    • ... stop it with the Smoked Whiskey dear author, Petey stays ... see my comments below for my thoughts.

  2. 2. Is This Year's Team Better than the 2011 Team that went to the SCF BABY!!

    • Fuck Ya and suck it CanuckFanF ... ahh, ahem

    • No, the 2011 team was deeper, faster and gosh darn it, everyone loved that team - even the TO Fans

    • Ask me at the 60 game mark, if team maintains this torrid pace then yes
      14
    • No, we are a Kesler and a Bieksa away from truly entering into that level of stratosphere
      17
    • Yes, but only if we jettison Myers, use the cap space to get a Selke caliber forward and one of the young guns in Abby steps up as the next Bobby (well better than Myers at least)

    • ... come on, are you serious ... see my comment below

NO. Once someone has posted something over the the top stupid everything else becomes questionable. Kind of like that poster that said , only last year on CDC that this rebuild retool was going to take 8 years. At least. :picard:

And who are you yo determine what's acceptable opinion?  An opinion can't be "wrong" and insulting people about it is a dbag path to take.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Allow me to introduce to you, the greatest analytical minds to grace CFF’s pages…Fran Healy Reaction GIF by Travis

All decked out in red to garner max attention is our very own CanuckFanForever.

Sporting a leather jacket and red checker neckerchief, fresh out of the classroom the one and only Stawns.

Always calm and collected Mr. Chon Derry rides  the merry go round one handed with  the other in his pocket. Pocket pool anyone?

Lastly , using both hands to cling to life in the circus is Dr. Crossbar whose blankets are hung on the adjacent monkey bars to dry.

Isn't it glorious?

I watched the Oilers game last night....not sure if they're really bad, just bad or good? They're all over the map and they seem to disintegrate a bit when frustrated.

As I keep telling my Oiler friends, they ain't goin nowhere with that goalkeeping tandem. Soup has gone to the AHL and it looks like Pickard is not the saviour

I wonder if this could mean more shifts for Kuzy on Peteys line. Petey needs more skill to play with.

I can clearly see that it's Suter there, but I don't know how long that will last.

I thought the same thing. A lineup that is built to juggle and swap when necessary.

I like Suter up with Petey on his right side; good faceoff backup and a smart player who will take advantage of Pettersson's Visionary Play.

That is, at least until Elias is graced with a true #1RW; Mikheyev is a good #1LW now that he is fully ready to go (and man can he go)!

At least one of our 2 top lines is going to have a lot of success cuz they can't cover both Miller's and Pettersson's, and maybe neither.

Suter is all-pro and knows what Tocchet wants; Kuz is still trying to figure out what Tocchet wants.

I think its going to work fine and may be a better tactic for road games than home games, idk.
