Canucks have 8 UFAs and 2 RFA's (notable) and Which Team is Better

  1. 1. Who won't be with the Canucks next year even if they win the Stanley Cup this year (multiple selections allowed). Comments are just my thoughts, pick player and add your own in comments below.

    • Sam Lafferty - yes great add, but that is the rub, will cost too much to resign plus Podz could fill his role and earn a nice contract the following year

    • Ian Cole - solid pickup, but too old now which is why was signed for only 1 year, that and McWard or Pettersson could possbily step up.

    • Mark Friedman - another solid pickup but young-uns in Abby can fill his spot

    • Tylers Myers - unless he signs for $1.5M or less. Myer's cap hit will be used to give Big Zeke, Honker and perhaps Petey raises

    • Elias Pettersson - he will want north of $11M per year and Canucks will get a bushel full of picks / prospects / players for him instead as that is too rich for Canucks now

Is it just me or does our team skating seem slow? And talk about slow, these slow start are so frustrating. Can imagine the coaches and players are pissed. They just need to start acting like it and get their sh!t together. This is a winnable game and there are no excuses.

Chicago feed saying Kurashev play on Hronek is suspendable. Giving Kurashev the business. Lol. One of the better non-Canucks' feeds I've seen so far. Not sure if it's a Chicago specific feed, but the NHL Network feed doing good work on that. Bringing up the play at all is surprising.

I recall a game many moons ago where Messier said, "hockey games aren't 60 minutes and 1 second long" ... referring to a game the Canucks barely squeaked a win out when the opposing team (forgot who they were) hammered the puck home .1 second after the horn sounded.

i think we just simply have to petition to the league no games should ever be played by a western team before noon their time.. it's simply a massive disadvantage for those teams.. their so call afternoon games is literally a morning game for most of these guys as they probably not even acclimatize to the time zone changes yet.. there's simply no explanation for how we just happen to be god awful and look half asleep for every single morning games over the years like why the early games?? it's not like baseball u want to play in sunny weather or what not..
