Yes I can. You can't tell me what to do.

I've already predicted it. Can't turn back time.

Call me in 7 years. You owe me a Canucks Bedard jersey if I'm right.

I owe you a Black Hawks Bedard jersey if I'm wrong..

Deal?

Deal!

Why would I want a Blackhawks jersey?

Just some things noticed lately...

Garland has been one of our best forwards ever since Beauvillier was traded. He was playing well before but really taken his game up a notch lately. Sure he's not racking up goals or points the way he should be (especially for a 5M guy) but he's generating so much energy and chances and finally he's able to generate some scoring, if not for him then for his linemates.

Yeah, we have one of the best 3rd lines in all of hockey, if not the best.

5 + 1 + 2 = 8 million dollar 3rd line.

Nothing wrong with that. Blueger and Joshua can be interchangeable with other players too, it's Garland that's making that line tick.

However we have seen that after 30 games, Garland and Joshua have developed good chemistry together and Joshua knows how to get open and look for Garly's passes or shot-passes.

Question is, what if Joshua wants 2 million next year?  What if it's 3?

Don't worry you won't get a Black Hawks jersey. He's coming to the Canucks..

I already predicted that.

But for the deal to be fair

I owe you a Bedard jersey from the team he signs for other than Canucks.

Flames Oilers Black Hawks any of them no problem.

Those were not easy games with the travel and scheduling. There's no way Canucks teams of the last few years would have come out of a trip like this with 3 out of 4 points. Nice to see them grind it out. I also feel like our big guns are saving their energy a bit for the really good teams. At least, I hope that's true!

Alflives told me to seal him in Formaldehyde so he'll be perfectly perserved for that day when the Canucks win the Cup.🥸

@Alflives is already pickled in vodka, whiskey, whisky (yes there is a difference you unwashed heathens), wine, rum, gin and those berries scattered on the ground that gets wild hogs drunk. Never mind a Canucks win, good ole Alfie will be around for when the Laffs win the Stanley Cup.

It is MLK Jr. Day in the states. The other Monday matinee in Feb is the new Juneteenth holiday in the states.

If that were the case, the holiday  would have been called Februaryteenth.

The Monday matinee in Feb is for President's Day

That is a holiday in the US in January.  People don't work on that day.

I didn't realize that was January. But still, people are highly encouraged to do service on MLK Jr Day so Americans are also not very likely to be watching TVs, and of course it's not a holiday in Canada. It just feels not very well thought out.
